you know, I just discovered something very strange about my personality thanks to this game, this little essay is just for those who may be wondering why they have the same mental confusion about this subject:my ability to tolerate the sight of gore, horror and other nightmarish stuff like that
has nothing to do with the actual content
but everything to do with the CONTEXT of why the gore is happening.
essentially, when it comes to shit like
action movies
real life violence
animations
video games
shock factor
I can look at any kind of gore, no matter how fucked up or disgusting and never bat an eye.
I could see the most traumatizing shit and be like "eh, neat."
if its in the context of it being for atmosphere, or shock value, or action or drama, or whatever.
but when you do one simple change:switch the context to "getting off on it"
suddenly, something primal in me becomes disgusted, horrified and I nearly want to puke at even the mildest sight of blood or gore.
I only started realizing this when I thought:"wait a fucking second
why is it that I can play and see hyper realistic gore
like invincible, bloodborne, gears of war and I don't even bat an eyelash
but my stomach starts churning and I want to puke when I see similar shit but on something like a rule 34 site?"
because, if you just took the contents alone and disassociated them from anything else
I would barely notice or care outside of a "eh, kinda fucked up but whatever"
but the simple knowledge "that someone made this because they found it sexually pleasing."
all of a sudden, im revolted and filled with disgust and find myself disturbed.
so, this game did one good thing:it helped me tap into a psychological part of me i was not aware of.
because ive seen worse shit

but i actually felt slightly disturbed and disgusted here because of one crucial bit of context:that this is a porn game
specifically made for people to jack off to it.
to each their own, of course, but if this exact same game existed
with the single detail that it was no longer a porn game (essentially just, removing the hentai animations and nothing else)
suddenly, i would be able to play through the whole game without stopping or feeling concerned.

Only the venus fly trap, boy and maybe fly are fappable (if you find insects hot). Rest is gore porn. Most of the other potentially interesting enemies have no animations yet. Don't bother playing to the alternative alchemists lair route, none of the new enemies there have CG/animations (waste of 2 hours ).

Just finished this trial, gameplay is surprisingly good, combat feels quite good, especially with the Bone Crusher sword, the minigame is okay, that one with the princess on the guillotine is too fucking hard, I need three separate instances of autoclicker just to complete the minigame, especially the last part, I hate it so much.
Anyone have fps problems when the game is the primary window? If I alt-tab I get 60fps but when clicked on only 4fps

Srsly, thats not very imaginative guro game. People who are into this fetish can easily come up with something ten times more gruesome. Due to lack of middle ground content that actually include sex, being entirely guro, its not my cup of tea.

The shovel is the best for me, fully upgraded it can 1 shot plenty of the weaker enemies and murder everything else with a full 3-hit combo. I prefer it over the bone sword because in boss fights I can only get 1 hit with the bone sword, meanwhile I can do a full combo with the shovel for 250-ish damage (granted when I haven't fully upgraded the bone sword).
I don't use guns because you can't use shields for some reason, which disables the ability to deflect/parry which is important for a certain boss fight. Coincidentally I found the shotgun to be the worst weapon because of the really long delay and the pathetic range, might as well use the bone-sword because atleast you can combo with it AND use the shield.
Thos who think melee weapons are good just have not met blue tentacle girl yet. You go guns, or you go owned. Donating dev for some times, i hate guro but his non-butcher scenes also looks realy nice.
What pisses me off is the fact what for few months he just adding new levels and characters without any new scenes.

Mate, I've beaten every boss in the game with only a shovel. I even perfect no-hit Glorious Anthem (the final boss) with the shovel. Granted I haven't perfect no-hit the tentacle boss, but at least you can beat her with the shovel. The only reason I don't like guns is because they disable shields.

So, I suck at platformers. Really suck.
That said, is it possible to save 'Rose' (the 'cum inflation = boom' lady)? I did some damage to the device, but not enough, I guess.

Well you actually get to save 1 princess via minigame, though I'm not sure if it'll affect the story or not.
