There are many reasons a dev will write a character a certain way. As they say, write what you know. it's obvious the majority of members here are just like this MC. So the game will get a majority of fans which = $.
I applaud the devs who write for their enjoyment first and popularity second.

Actually, there is a variety of female LIs here. the sexy but not needy BDSM/sex therapist, the bitchy hates you but not really roommate, the cute Cosplay girl. Did I miss anyone? Oh, yeah, the submissive from the beginning of the game, the Boo girl from the ending. which I guess is going to be the nerdy/goth innocent sex kitten. All that's left is the super hot aloof girl that takes a little more effort to get the sexy time from.
