I originally didn't plan for the story to play as much of a role, as I never thought that people would actually like what I would come up with, so this makes me very happy!

And I enjoy reading about people discussing it, as well as criticism. I'm by no means a professional when it comes to writing, and I still have a lot to learn, so reading about weaknesses and strong aspects of the story helps me improve for the future.

Well, at least from what I've seen thus far (I've completed about 60% of the events, I think, based on the in-game tracker), the story is genuinely engaging, and it sets this game apart. Naturally there's always room for improvement. Humans are like sharks, except for us it's a matter of improving rather than swimming. And there's no better way to improve than to receive feedback. So props to you on your mindset ! If you ever wanna chat about the game or want feedback on story elements or whatnot, always happy to receive a message from you! I do study stories and storytelling academically/professionally, so...not a complete zero on that front, should you ever wanna reach out. I'm honestly jealous of the sense of accomplishment you ought to have in creating something so excellent, and I wish you nothing but the very best of continued success.

Smart call. I don't like drama for the sake of it, but any good story needs dynamic, conflict, before it becomes stale and predictable ( cough, cough, Ptolemy)

It's effectively the DBZ method: whenever the story stalls, introduce a new villain, who is more powerful and more threatening than the previous one, and then have the protagonist struggle against them, to ultimately defeat them, to become more powerful.

I'd disagree that ie GoT works like that. Star Wars doesn't do that either - the Empire, Vader and the Emperor are the opponent from the start to the finish (shame they never made more than the original trilogy).

I think it's a bit of a question what you expect out of the game; for me, that wasn't too big an issue with Nadia (leaving aside that we don't even know yet how it'll play out ^^; ). But there's always a bit of that tonal shift between porn parody (especially where the uncle is concerned), so it's not a big crime to go with this sort of plot, and then the more serious stuff, where it's tense situations and some real drama - where a plot that's too repetitive is a problem. So I'd say it depends a bit on which direction the game wants to lean towards.

Otherwise imo the "mistake" with Nadia was not introducing her earlier. I mean, maybe I missed it, but if for example Leah (and perhaps others) from the beginning often referred to her; maybe as this almost "legendary" figure she's looked up to all her life and who was ultimately lost to the enemy, it'd be more understandable why she reacts the way she does when she suddenly reappears. There also could have been some small inexplicable events that'd hint at somebody hanging around from way earlier, just subtle implying "things" are going on.

Personally I'd have preferred more of an internal drama, to be honest; I don't know, maybe some would like to open up the island more, others might want to protect what they got; maybe some conflict between the girls (possibly incited by the lovely chaos goddess) and such ... but the thing is, at this point in the story, they are pretty much all already super-loyal (aside from maybe Sarah and keeping her go villain again and again would definitely be a bad choice as well), so it's hard to envision any serious disagreement between them that's not just solved by MC going "stop doing that" ... and then they'd all stop ^^; So not very interesting ...

I agree that GoT or Star Wars don't introduce increasingly powerful enemies. But I disagree that Hail Dicktator does that, either. I'm not sure Yuki was more powerful than Leah. Leah underestimated Yuki, but that doesn't make Yuki more powerful. Sarah was definitely not more powerful than either Leah or Yuki, since she's only recently discovered her power. Eris was more powerful than all of them.

I've seen nothing that makes me convinced Nadia is more powerful than Eris, or Leah, or even Yuki. Nadia has Authority, but she subdued people with poisoning, and only by doing so without their knowledge. That's clever but not powerful. She has military training, but so does Leah. She remained unknown for a long time, but that's stealth, not power. I think you're overrating her power level, at least from what we've seen. You're talking about power creep, but that hasn't really applied in the game at all, IMO. Dragonball Z definitely does that; I don't believe Hail Dicktator does. The power levels have gone from weaker to stronger and back to weaker.

I had long planned Nadia, and introduced her partially for the reasons you mentioned. I didn't introduce her for femdom though (not that you said that, but I wanted to make it clear anyways)
She will also play a vital part in the overall story.


MC didn't lose his status as an Authority. He an Nadia are currently equals in terms of citizen rights, though Nadia is military, while MC is not. Though that doesn't give Nadia any right to command MC around. In hindsight I could have probably made that a bit clearer, but the next updates will evolve the character further. She is meant as an adversary. And as something for the MC to overcome so he will end up on top eventually.

Sad that this Nadia has been designed for a long time because it ruined a hell of a good game so far. If I could put up with Nadia for a couple of updates, then it already says enough about that character and whether or not to continue playing. I guess you make some kind of history because of how things went wrong with this character and how one character can pull a lot of good down the drain.

This Nadia shuffled the body of the game as she pushed herself into the lead there. And I’m certainly not the only one who thinks Nadia doesn’t belong there at the top. Personally, I even think Nadia isn’t part of the whole game. If that Nadia has to be brought into the game, then why couldn't she be put to stand next to Uncle Dick and take over the army from there. Nadia could even be such a character that she sometimes only comes to visit the island and otherwise keeps her ass out of the island.

That character should change really a lot to put up with it. But like I said, I’ll look at a couple more updates.

Jeanne was Genius from you. Nadia was and is terrible (at least implemented).

Do you watch television shows or film series? Isn't there usually a different primary villain in each? Aren't there sometimes even more than two in a single film? Were you bored of them as well? Game of Thrones, the Star Wars saga, the James Bond films, the John Wick movies, etc., all have multiple antagonists again and again. They also often deal with them in the same way. I don't see any problem with this, and I also don't mind having new villains every so often. However, obviously what I like (or even just what I don't have a problem with) won't match your own preferences or pet peeves.

The only thing I have to watch is the Star Wars saga Ep. 1-6. I am bored by movies for long time if I wanted to be just narrated I would still go to the movies, but I wanted to play that's why I play games. Good Series are Star Trek (Berman Trek, not this Kurtzman garbage) or Babylon 5.

I really think we can't compare movies with a game? Although, this game has become very kinetic.
What I knew from art class is that good villians are antagonist and have screen time and character development. And that's exactly what works for me. Something Nadia lacks she was thrown at us, and now we should say: "Yay new Drama, supi."
I was playing it and said the whole time: "Oh please no, don't!"

I don't expect hachigames to pull that off, but I couldn't believe how this arc concluded at the end.
I mentioned generation Netflix for me, it is like a soft reboot. We are now where we were at the beginning, and Leah is now Nadia.
I don't know what you think of reboots in series?

Yes, I know we will overcome her, and she gets a spanking. I expected something different. Especially after 5 Months of build up.
This game has now plot holes which have to be filled, and that alone will last many more updates for just doing that.

But I am in the minority, and that's ok. I am a little bit strange in that regard. I expect a coherent story which makes sense in the universe it plays in, and more control as a player.

Anyway, Nadia is hear and meant to be remaing hear for a while now. Therefore, I will see how that unfolds. And if the Drama caused by her is good or not for this game. This kind of discussion is at least new to this game. Hope it pays out. Because the game is really good.
It would be a pity, but it seems hachigames has it in his own hands.

I don't know how I would say this. Ever since that intruder came to the island, this has been full of shit. Fortunately, there is also a skip button here. Somehow the balance changed as soon as that shit Nadia came to the island and that slut walked past Leah in order of value, so it angered me. Personally, I could kick Nadia into the sea as long as she disappears from the game once and for all. I hope it doesn’t become one of the island’s residents because the gaming enthusiasm is completely gone. I don’t know how it could be explained by the fact that one character totally ruins the game. Maybe it’s that attitude and behavior that is suggestive of femdom, then it makes me immediately jump over the ctrl key. Not even the sex scenes interested anymore but the desire to get the assignments 100% as soon as possible and hoping that in the next update that one slut is gone and Leah is in the office again. That Nadia will never become one of my girls. If dev decides to do it, then I guess gaming will end there.

That character should turn into almost another character for some players to put up with. Like myself. My playing might end if that is written to the game permanently because as a character I can’t stand it. It’s not about whether Harem is a game or not, it’s about the character’s attitude and behavior. Shit has already happened, but can it be wiped off anymore?

I prefer to look at this situation like this. If that becomes a permanent character, then I'd rather play some other game where there is no anger and no need to press the ctrl key to make the event end quickly. A couple of updates I’ll see where that turns, but no more. Now, these last couple of updates have been just a press of ctrl and the interest in everything that happens in the game is gone just because of that character and its impact on the body of the game.
