Oh ty for the info because there is no Changelog anywhere ...
This is one of the handful of devs where the changelog is for Patreon subscribers.
Rarely if ever shows up here.
However someone did re-post a progress report way back on Sept 29th.

Important news from Viitgames:

Hi

I do have quite a bit to say this time.

First of all, as we're reaching the end and the paths multiply and start diverging more and more, we won't be able to update all the paths in each ulpoad. Unless there will literally be 5 minutes of gameplay per. This will be the first update when that will happen. We started with the Sandra path, and as we moved forward, we realised that we'll need more than 300 images and 3/4 animations just to get this path where we want to. There is no way we can do the same for for the non Sandra paths as well. There is too much happening in the story at this point for us to be able to cover all the paths each month, and to be able to cover enough ground linearly to have a good amount of gamplay in each path. It's either this, or have a multiple month release schedule.

That being said, we're actually a bit ahead of schedule. There will be no delays. And you can expect 300+ images and 3/4 animations in the next update.
That's about it.

Starting .96 on the Mac (game loaded from fap-nation) after applying the patch yields the following exception:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Unpatched game runs just fine...

Evidently it can. You are talking about closeness in a sexual context. In that you are correct. They had sex before the MC even knew anything about Klaus. And of course he had always 'loved' her. But that is not all there is to 'closeness'. The anger he feels and the determination he has to both avenge her and to relieve Haley's anxieties are a direct result of the Klaus revelation. So, it has brought them together more deeply on other levels that sex.

Look, I get it that you didn't like 'the reveal'. Neither did I. Who would? And neither did the MC, but he didn't abandon Haley because of it, and neither have I.

You may never agree, and that's okay. Differences of opinion are inevitable. But mine is that Klaus made the story deeper, more interesting, and better. I always empathized with Haley's character. The developers are good at that. But after Klaus I found myself even more drawn to her character.

But that's just me.
So don't misunderstand other than the notion that this could happen without the MC noticing that his twin was experiencing a massive traumatic experience and finding out why, I have no problem with the reveal or how it fits into the story.

My comment simply reflects that these two having grown up together from birth. Bonding as ONLY twins can who after acknowledging and committing their lives and eternal love to each other. The notion that somehow the MC becomes "more involved emotionally" when he learns of her abuse, simply fails to understand their existing level of emotional involvement.

While she didn't initially provide details, she did tell the MC about Klaus. He then set about getting her sorted out. He told her that she wasn't going to like what he wanted her to do but that he was doing it because he loved her. However uncomfortable she may have been, she never lashed out at him. They didn't become more emotionally involved, rather we witness the strength of their existing love and relationship.

In fact my view is that, from the very beginning of this story, their emotional involvement was already as deep and complete as possible. The story is about how they come to deal with this forbidden bond that transcends social norms and cope with the realization that it's the two of them together forever come what may no matter what, and they find that before she tells the MC about Klaus.

Dealing with this may demonstrate his commitment to Haley, but that commitment was already there, and had been long before either one of them were willing to acknowledge it to each other (although Haley knew it and was seeking a way to get him to see it before this story began).

It might be just me, but it seems the "Sandra+Haley" route was updated from 0.95 to 0.96, but not the "Haley only" route.

As I wrote, " You may never agree ". Since 'never' doesn't appear to be arriving soon, this argument is pointless. I've got better things to waste my time on than reiterating what I've already said. See ya.

So, who's everyone's favorites? My favorite (looking at both appearance and personality) is Sandra, followed by Haley, then Adriana. Lisa and Alana are ok, but they don't have a whole lot of story about them yet so it's hard to judge them.

I started a couple of days ago, and just finish both routes.

The only problem I have with this game has to do with Klaus, but not the fact that this is in the game. My problem is that the person Haley trusts the most and feels safest with is one that she won't tell her past to. It doesn't make sense to me, since people share traumatic things like this with people they feel safe with and that they trust. So it just seems forced and out of character that Haley won't talk about it with the MC. Hopefully this gets resolved soon.

What I was trying to get at was that none of this is uniquely achievable with Klaus. Up until very recently she's seemed to be at least outwardly capable of living a completely normal life. The stuff with the MC is getting more co-dependent. But mostly it's just what, some mostly unacknowledged anxiety? The only real unique part of the Klaus thing would be some sort of sexual hangup that gets worked through, but that's obviously not the case here. Haley has been in relationships since then, and hasn't had any trouble having sex with the MC.

So why? There's so many other options out there. If some event is required rather than good old chemical imbalances, there is still plenty of fodder. And many of them make much more sense to tie t them to the MC. Think getting (severely) lost as a young child and MC finds her, or an accident in the woods and again MC saves her, etc. Plenty of those kinds of things would make the dependence on MC fit more with the backstory. And none of it involves throwing kiddie diddling into a porn game.

That's a big old sledgehammer that really shouldn't be used unless you really, really have to. And Haley's Story just hasn't used it for much, and everything that it has been used for really doesn't need that much force to accomplish.

Or the developer WANTS to. This is the developer's story to tell, not yours or mine. We can argue about the merits of that decision till we are both in our graves, but it doesn't really matter, does it? It is what it is. Bitching about it is not going to change one word of what has been coded about Klaus.

I have to agree. this is the Developer's story, told the way he/she wants to tell it. Like others have said, if you dislike it that much, stop playing and just move on.
