When it says it's pre patched, does that mean that it includes the incest without a patch. The incest patch is for .98 I think and not 99.

Why do I think that the Haley + Sandra route is canon? [If you don't give a shit what I think, don't read the rest of this post. No one will come to arrest you. I promise.]

In addition to the fact that Sandra is the one girl with whom the MC must have a relationship at the beginning of the game, she is the only NPC in the game (other than Haley) for whom points can be gained or lost; those points are also meaningful if you play her route [even if you get to the threesome scene, if you don't have enough points for Sandra, she will abandon ship]; she is the only person, so far, for whom points matter; not even Haley's points mean anything so far.

Also, Ptolemy is a co-contributor to the development of this game. Anyone who has played his previous game (Dreaming of Dana), knows how much he likes 'beard' solutions for incest games. Sandra is the perfect 'beard' for Haley and the MC.

I mean no disrespect to people who like the other routes - I play and enjoy them all.

I also realize that a lot of people never liked Sandra for one reason or another. I believe that is the reason that the developers decided to allow the MC to break up with her, and for her to never be seen again if he does.

Again, all of this is only my opinion; I have no inside information on this (or any other) game.

See, you went and did it now. I can get behind what you said there. I for one, liked Sandra when we first met her. I love my chocolate. But, for me, the story felt off. So, I gravitated towards a solo with Haley. But, I also really liked Lisa. But, that's not here or there. I still have a Sandra save, but, I haven't played it in a very long time. It's a solo Sandra. But, anyway, I still haven't finished this up date yet.

Dude if you want to hear yourself sound smart a porngame forum ain't the place to do it... I have played this game since day 1 and about half a year ago the dev stopped giving a shit about it... kinda sad to see a great VN turn to shit at the end because of laziness, and yes, Sandra is the least liked character by a longshot because she's two dimensional at best, mothering and smothering, at least that's how she is written... also almost every succesful game does the harem end first but this dev likes to milk his patrons so I guess to each his own...

First of all, fiddling around with colors and similar doesn't strengthen your argument, it just makes it more difficult to read what you want to say. Kinda ironic trying to stand out and gather attention for a post where you then try telling others off for it. But for the record: I do not think that everybody playing porn games needs to be lacking in smarts and I have had quite a few decent talks on here. Back on topic, I think many of us were around from day 1 or at least shortly thereafter - however that does not make our opinion more valid.

I know most of these games is as far from reality as possible for most parts. But once in a while you get that slice of life attempt. Imho the "beard solution" fails because such is as far from reality and slice of life you can get really.

Yes, forced LIs/fiancees/similar tend to get minus points on that. Fetish Locator seems to be an even more extreme example of that. (Unless they're just plain assholes whose whole story is to get dumped in the first chapter or so, in which case they probably do not count as LIs).

The level of support that this game enjoys makes it pretty clear that the Sandra, Haley, MC path is quite popular. As Walter points out that path is pretty much canon. So despite the vocal part of the fan base that disparages Sandra, they are almost certainly in the minority.

My goal, as is Haley's goal, is to end up in a long term sexually and emotionally intimate relationship with my fraternal twin. By far the simplest path to that end is to find a compatible soul who we, my twin and I, can seduce into a menage a trois, a "household of three". Now as it happens, I find Sandra, for all her obsessions, quite attractive. While we've yet to see the epilogs, it appears that Haley and I have succeeded, and Sandra will only ever know love, support, and every good thing I and my sister can give her. You see I do love her, I just love Haley a good deal more, and Haley and I will ensure that none of us ever have to choose between us.

Pre-patched means the incest patch is already applied, so you don't need to apply it. Although, if your saves are from V0.90 you'll have to manually c/c them in the correct folder, as the permanent saves don't work between the pre-patched version and the older versions. There's a good chance they might be buggy too; if so, look in the thread for solutions posted when the transition was made (v 0.94 maybe?).

How did you get that 'Sandra is the best'? Most of everyone hated Sandra.

Well, as I just mentioned on another thread, people have subjective opinions. You don't like the Sandra route; it happens to be my favorite route and may well be the canon route to the developers. Again, a subjective opinion. As to what percentage of players 'hated' Sandra... well 'hate' is a pretty strong term. Many liked other options for a 2nd LI, or no option at all. But good luck proving that 'most of everyone hated Sandra'.

I personally absolutely adore Sandra. She's incredibly cute — obsessively worrying, eye-rolling at the MC's dumb humor, trying to be sexy, whatever — and I love it. I haven't really thought in terms of favorites with this; I generally don't really do that in games, although sometimes I find a clear preference. But I definitely don't hate Sandra in the slightest.

Thanks for the answer man. Doubt i'll be messing with the save files. I'm just gonna restart the game entirely and play from scratch. It seems fairly close to being finished anyway or maybe it already has endings in it. Might as well enjoy it again from the start!
