Nothing happens with Samantha this episode, just her showing off some very low cut pants. Emily gets a lot of attention this update, especially in the alley scene.

There were so many adorable moments of Em I found myself just staring at her not advancing the dialogue. Your third pic I paused there for a bit when I got to it, and then there's the alley scene where the MC held Em's arms against the wall, that one was great. I just don't like it when my favorites act out of character; I'm all for character growth but she should still be herself.

You're welcome. I don't know when to expect action with Sam if that's what you're waiting for. I'm guessing the next episode will center around Ashley and her family, maybe Samantha too. The way this update ended with a cliffhanger, it'll feature a bit of Em in the beginning of the next one too.

Yeah this was a wonderful episode for Emily when it comes to little moments like that, minus the club bullshit. I hope that's not a taste of things to come with her. I know Ash was to doll her up with make-up, and now she has the club influence in her head too. I really hope Az doesn't sex her up. She's perfect the way she is.

It also helps that there is literally no one else to choose from as an LI in this game. It might be one of its biggest drawbacks to most people, but I see it as a boon when speaking personally, even though I really have no trouble at all picking my VNs in these games.
To me, Az hit one out of the park with Emily. Probably one of the most cutest and adorable VN girls in my mind.

I think my main issue with it is that it's not immediately apparent. Like I'm very much pro single LI story, but plausibility requires that there would be some consequences for fooling around if that's the case. Now the question is whether the author would have the proverbial balls to follow trough, or if the Emily will go "Oh, you banged Ashley, her sister and her granddad's maid and I'm A-Okay with that". I'm slightly exaggerating there, but another problem is if it would be in fact possible to sleep around and end up with Emily with good ending then it could be unequivocally viewed as the canon route with most content.
Bottom line is that's where the game's "porniness" threads on it's narrative cohesion.

I agree. There should be something negative coming from the possibility of the player/MC banging everyone if he wants to; Ashley (and maybe even now Ashlyn), doing things with Sam, Piper, Shiho, etc. If the player does all that, and still has a happy ending with Em that's pretty much bullshit in my book. Right now, there's no repercussions and that's not good for this game.
Minus my first ever run in this game which seems like eons ago now, I've never done or even flirted with anyone else in this game. I still want Shiho as an LI (but I have a huge thing for Japanese women anyway) and to me she's the only one I'd want next to Em, who, at the end of this Episode, I have a 42 L/15 C score with, but I would really hope Az installs some drawbacks for the man-whore MC players, but maybe that won't happen until the MC and Emily officially become a couple, which COULD happen if you leave the club with her instead of saying with Luis.
I can see that happening. It could show Emily that maybe he's ready for that step? I don't know, but I see that club decision being a very big step towards them becoming a couple.

Well, to me, E9 was a hell of a lot more interesting than E8, which was nearly the entire episode at the Lexington mansion. Yes it built storyline for Ash and Lynn, but this one was one of the better episode updates.
Maybe I'm just speaking for myself because I had almost a full episode of Emily, so I'm biased. If that's the case, fine, but this one interested me a lot more than E7/E8 did. I personally enjoyed it. To each their own of course, but I was happy with it after waiting a year.

I'm assuming the "Old Man" is Ashley's grandfather, since he seems like a lecher. He already felt up Miss Maid and there's the bonus episode where I think he's banging her on the yacht (which is disgusting)MC on Old Man?

Yeah. Officer Monroe has more backstory now than Sam does. The Emily/Julie thing took a step forward. Ash had her episode back in E8, so I agree, minus the club decision and the fallout from that, Samantha needs some story development time in the next episode.

Samantha is the primary reason I play this game. I find her interesting and the growing relationship with the MC has held my interest. While I understand that Emily is the main LI from what I've read, she does absolutely nothing for me and I generally skip past her content quickly. I find her more annoying than cute, but to each his own, I guess.

because next to Emily, the only other one I really like here is Shiho, and hopefully she gets more screen time too, hopefully out of the doctor's office. I just find Emily adorable, especially with her expressions and pouty faces she does, just don't like the idea of Az sexing her up, that's what bothers me right now as I see it as unnecessary, as I find her perfect already....

I respect that. We all play these games and generally attach ourselves to the characters we like the most, or associate the most with. And that is perfectly fine. Samantha intrigues me to the point were I want the developer to really delve into her character and background much more - which is difficult with the release pace of this game and additional women to focus attention on, and Sam not being the primary here at all. But I enjoy the game enough to hang in there and find out.*laughing* I guess I'm the opposite then

Emily is so cute, I actually like how she clingy to the MC and how she gets jealous of the him. Far more realistic than 90% of the love interests in this games.
