Are we gonna get more scenes with Mariana? I like Ashley's path more than Emily's. The one thing I do like about Halfway House is that the developer updates the next chapter and not changing past chapters.

While I agree with the sentiment of your post, I don't think it's a fair rebuke. Do you really think it's all about a fair deal and the low money support is the reason this short update took so long? And those who supported the developer for a year and a half did not pay enough because they receive the same short update? My guess is that those who still support him do it not because he offers the best price per render per month. Let's face it, it's the dev's abilities and capabilities, he is doing the best he can, and this update is what he can. Do I consider the developer to be lazy - no. Do I think the developer has broken any of their promises - no, so there's no reason for anyone to feel cheated, especially this here. Do I think the game or the latest update is bad, or that it got worse, no. Do I think that development is slow and the update is very short for such a long period of time - damn it, just compare with other games here with similar quality of renders and animations, that are being actively developed.

This used to be one of my favorite VN but I'm kinda starting to get confused about it's drection. I don't mind the long read and lack of porn, my problem lies with the story itself, like it's throwing random pieces of the universe without explaining any: Hollis being allegedly drugged, Ash granpa seemingly being
and now triad guys being involved with
AND you still have MC's story of being reintroduced into society. Kinda started like a wholesome story but midway through dev decided "let's do a True Crime story instead".

If I were to guess, those two "mafia/triad" related scenarios will possibly tie in together somehow and probably save the MC from some catastrophic issue he put him self in by being captain save-a-ho.. I do feel like this should all add up and make sense at some point because the developers direction for this game so far has kept me hooked to the story so that must mean something.. I'll admit I'm a bit confused as to where this is going at this point but watching the final scene with Emily.. totally worth it but her jumping into the fight I feel may have been pushing it just a bit too far lol
Been waiting for Ep. 10 for over a year. Really hoped it would be a bit.. longer? Played through both versions in under 2 hours without skipping anything.
Anyhow, the story continues to be great, although there's a lot of loose ends lining up. What I didn't like are the animations, to be honest. They are waaaaaay too fast and don't look really good. I know, those are hard to do. I'd rather have no animations than badly done ones, though. And if you keep them in, at least make them realistic which means like.. 25% of their current speed, at max.
Just a suggestion. I don't know how others felt about it. I love the story of the game, I was still happy that it got hotter this episode but those animations killed any excitement I had, especially with my bae Emily.

Played a long while back, just installed CH 10 and restarted the game. The images where we meet Emily and Ashley (where it pans head to toe) for some reason don't line up. The bottom half of both is shifted to the left. Have re-downloaded and re-installed, the problem remains. Haven't gone farther yet, trying to determine if the game is faulty or something strange on my end.

under renderer options try 2nd or 3rd option
then exit game and restart
I find 3rd option of Force ANGLE2 renderer works for me everytime

Replaying the game, now that the long-awaited update is out. Even using the walkthrough, can't seem to get enough corruption points with Emily to make out on the train back from the hospital visit. Reading through the walkthrough, it seems I lose 4 emCp by not being on the Ashley path. Is there any way to get those points without dealing with her sorry ass? Frankly, I'd rather drown Ashley in the bath than deal with her. She, her family, and Liz are the only characters in the game I dislike.
