My heart beats faster I was concerned that the game had been abandoned, but glad to be wrong.
The update itself is a bit short, but the ending heralds the return of the main villain (because it was getting a bit boring).

Did anyone else get an Antivir warning for the happenstance-32.exe?

Edit: It was a little bit strange, as Windows denied me deleting Happenstance-32.exe... I could delete everything else just fine, only this file said I need to have permissions to delete it.
At the end, I used my Anti Virus programm to delete it.

Your AV probably prevented you from deleting it while it was 'quarantined'.

Also time to enjoy playing this update on my laptop with just Windows Defender while a bunch of people panic about viruses and shit

dang... this game usually has very short updates, but this one was especially short XD.

Short as it may be, there is always something interesting plot wise. We learn a bit more about MC's past here. Just beware that the update is 5 minutes tops with no H scene. Makes sense if the dev took an extended break due to personal reasons. I'm just glad it's back in development.

I guess I'd not played some previous releases of this as there was a reasonable amount for me to check out ... though while the gf is great and all, I'm not super interested in her especially as her backstory wasn't nearly as dark as I was hoping for, she'll still be useful as I'd want to get to cheat on her with her best-friend, but I'm hoping future content will get more diverse... who I'm mainly curious about is the girl on the banner image and the prostitute you save, those 2 are pretty hot and I'm hoping there's some messed up stuff with.

But the world and game just in general is super interesting, it seems some folks were worried it was dead judging by some of the last comments here, so I'm just glad to see it ongoing.

Used Mega, seemed to work, was unzipping and then it wanted authorization at 99% and broke off!

I downloaded through JDownloader and it unzipped the package by itself with a plugin. My anti-virus just triggered when I opened the folder to run the game. As it didn't flag the "Happenstance.exe" I ran it and everything is ok so far.

For me it's very atypical to have a virus warning on downloads from this site. Coincidentally or not, this game does something very unusual: it asks to look into my Windows username.

I dont care if it was a short update (he was just finishing off day 7) it is alive and ticking again!

And, hopefully, now that we have fully broken in the girlfriend, we can get on with the more serious business of banging every other girl in the game (and maybe occasionally having a fight - as long as it doesnt distract from the more serious business of cheating)
