Lmao, nature of the beast. Human beings all want to be heard, sadly if someone else has already said what they were going to say, we still feel the need to say our piece ourselves as what they may have said might cover what we want to say but it dosent have that personal touch.

As for people complaining, I'll give you an example. I do tree work for a living, say you pay me $4000 to remove a tree from your yard, I cut the tree down and clean up 1% of the mess the tree made, then I tell you ill back the next day to get more of it, the next day I arrive ask for money to work that day and only clean up another 1% of the mess then leave saying ill be back the next day. So tell me you going to complain about it.

Now there is a semi real world example for you as to what's going on here people are paying devs threw crowdfunding to develop these games. You may not be paying the dev but you all should speak your peace as giving that dav any decent as to what he is doing is ok will justify his doing so, and thus the dev will keep doing it (suffice to say he will probably keep doing it anyway).

However one to 2 complaints is easly ingnorable by anyone willing to support and pay that dev to develop the game, a sheer truck load of complaints not so much. The trick isnt to get the dev to listin to us, the trick is to get his money to do so.

Pretty much yes. If the dev isn't here to listen all the 'criticism' is moot. Its like yelling about Pizza Hut inside a McDonalds.

And for porn visual novels we are not talking about big game company. It usually one person making it or small team of people.

And this is exactly why I'm tired of listening to people whining about development roadmaps. It's exactly why I told all of them that if they weren't happy with the pace to learn Renpy and do it better Because its small teams making these games. Not Bethesda. It's *one* guy trying to make it. So whining about this being left out, or that being left out, when you *know* its a small team is exactly why I'm going to call it whining and tell them to write their own games. You want the MC balls deep in a loli 3 minutes into the game? Write it. Or go find one of the hundreds of games that are exactly the wish fulfillment you demand.

It's not criticism to whine my dude. It's whining. Criticism isn't: THIS THING ISN'T EXACTLY WHAT I WANT TO JERK MY DICK TO. Folks act like any complaint is fair and just criticism, it's not. It's like buying a sub-compact car then bitching about it being subcompact: you chose to buy it. You didn't research it? You didn't test drive it? You just bought it. That's stupid, and the whining it causes is boring and old hat. People need to learn the difference between useful criticism and bitchy complaining. Then they need to go play something they like, instead.

OK I'll take a look with a fresh copy.

EDIT: I tried it with a fresh copy it seems fine. Granted I'm a few updates back but I didn't mess with anything that affects actual content, only interface related items. Sometimes if you save in the middle of a label, it can't find the next label to jump to because of the return function getting hung up. Can you try rolling back then going into the content again, then if it throws errors post the log?

EDIT 2: Also, make sure you're using the right version of Un'Ren. If not it won't unpack the RPAs properly and then you'll just have a directory with no actual files. In the current thread the correct version would be either UnRen-old or UnRen windowed 3.5.0.

My bad, messed something up, tried again and now it works. Sorry to waste your time my man and thanks for the mod.

Preemptive EDIT: This mod ONLY APPLIES TO VERSION 4.6. If you use it with any other version it WILL break your game!

Here's my mod as promised. It's a little better than I thought it would be as I took a couple hours to iron out the kinks, so hopefully it's future-proof and easy to maintain with coming updates. It's not goober-proof however, and I make no guarantees that it won't mess up your game if you don't know what you're doing. I am not responsible for any damage done to your game. There are few adjustments to the initially anticipated changelog, fully delineated below:

-Rollback at any time.
-Skip on CTRL keys, hide on H key.
-Infinite save pages.
-All non-unique events that take up 2 time slots will take up 1.
-All unique events that take up 2 time slots will take up 1.
-No grind/maintenance activities except work.
-Save or load at anytime. Access custom save menu using right mouse button or escape key. My hacked interface is confusing so be careful not to accidentally save when you want to load or load when you want to save!

Instructions:
1) Backup your game files.
2) Unpack your game using UnRen, following the instructions found in this thread:

3) Delete hs1.rpa and hs2.rpa in the \game folder.
4) Unpack the mod contents into the \game folder.

You MIGHT get an error screen about "map". If so, just hit rollback and it should be fine.
If the mod doesn't take effect on load hit Shift + R, or Shift + D and click Reload Game.

I tried to make the Gallery accessible in-game but ran into some issues, and didn't want to throw any more time at it. Please enjoy and let me know if you are knowledgeable about Ren'Py scripts and have any feasible suggestions for improvements.

I don't see a downside. It took me an hour to cobble up a Renpy VN mocking them. Learned enough to know how much time goes into something a million more times complex. But that was my point to begin with. It's easy as a consumer to have no clue the effort that goes into even the *bad* games. And who knows? Maybe one of them will make a game. Hell, it might not even be bad. I'm debating doing something a little more involved than what I posted myself, it wasn't particularly hard.

Have you tried the walkthrough on page 1?

It looks like you can go further with everyone, but it is difficult to say which step you should take now. If you still can't figure it out I can take a look if you can upload a save.

So Caizer Games uses this command to hide this screen called the keymap, which is what enables keyboard and mouse inputs for Ren'py games. I usually takes out all the commands that both hide and show the keymap, so if you were playing without my mod and somehow managed to save on a screen where the keymap was hidden (which I don't think is possible as that prevents the input for getting to the save screen if I remember correctly...) then it might not be able to show the keymap since I remove those commands as well...

Anyway try typing this in the console: renpy.show_screen("key_map") and hopefully that works... If not then I guess we'll have to come up with another hypothesis...
