You thinking about someone taking game and finishing it? Unless you want to do it yourself it is unlikely that someone else would spent their time to do so. But if you did then you might want to ask the creator if you can first. Otherwise may cause some trouble.

no trouble, the creator is clearly in prison serving time for "other" content he was dealing with. not every country in the world will allow you to deal with stuff like these and "other". people shouldn't forget that most of the stuff here like characters and animations are from a game engine, he did a good job with what he had, and I really liked this game. but it's one of the so many games on this site that do the same.
anyone really wants to keep this game going can just recreate it in his own version and gg, no stealing and he can just keep going. but again, no one is gonna come to reclaim this game. you can copy paste everything via Renpy, you think the guy is gonna come back after 2 years and just reclaim all the new content? he will get his old game version, and then we will have 2 versions of the same game LOL... what's not to like here? the original can keep going whatever path he wants while the new version will start working backwards to have a complete game, maybe change how characters look and that's about it.
the law is very clear about this, at most the new dude continuing the game will be forced to change a few stuff and lose the original content which will force him to either recreate new previous content or just not give a fuck and have his game start when the original ended.

That's just stupid. From what I recall there wasn't any content that would end up with him in prison in any country.

not every country allows the use of such games, to them any loli content is underage content. also... it wasn't the game that probably got him in trouble.

The only country I can think of would be Japan because he didn't censor anything. Last I heard, he wasn't satisfied with what he was putting out so he decided to remake the game. That was the last time I heard anything as I decided to give up as all the hard work he poured into the game was for not.

I think he made that shit up. He has no proof, nor evidence, and shouldn't be saying things like that without either. So I wouldn't be too concerned. The developer probably has mental health issues, you know, like every other Adult Game developer.

Well, at least he's honest. But still, it's disappointing because I really enjoyed this game and I know a lot of other people do too. Too bad this guy had some sort of mental breakdown, but I get it.
I honestly don't believe that this guy had the best "koikatu resources game" (is that's one of the name to call it these things?). Though it was very first that I ever played, so I do have some feeling over abandonment and official discontinuation.

I dunno, Corrupted Kingdoms is pretty great. I gave up on it after the models were changed because I was used to the old models, but for a new player it should be great. HS Tutor is also pretty well done and has a shitton of scenes. It runs on porn logic more than CK but if you don't mind that it should be awesome.
I'd put HHS at no.3 in my, albeit limited, experience. I.e. I'm sure there are even better KK model using games out there than these three but I haven't seen them yet.
