Last time I replied honestly in a mod's thread to a begger finished in about two pages deleted by moderation... Seems that it's forbidden to offend snowflake's ego...
Worst is that you made the patch, I gave the method to bypass Mega's 5 GB limit and 0.10.2 savefiles, and they still ask for all of this despite it was posted few hours ago...
There's a 4th option. Use a different link (nopy.to for instance) and use a free download manager because browser downloading sucks mad balls
Doesn't that kinda fit in with Runey's 2nd point? If you check out the [FREE] download links on the Patreon page, there are links for Mega, GDrive, and Nopy for each platform that you can choose from. There are also a few more options right here on this thread that are listed or linked to in the OP.
This is something that has been repeated over and over by many posters already. One of the nice things about Mega is that you can download and use their MegaSync outside of the browser for free. Yes, there's a 5gig at a time limit, but you always have the option to ignore any payment messages and just wait a couple of hours for the download to resume or go back a few threads to a post that describes how to bypass the wait completely.
Once again i can only speak for myself, and let me preface what will come by saying i do love this game. It's probably the best of it's type i ever played, so don't take my comment as me trying to diss you or the game.
That said, when you put that "if the player just wanted to bust a nut, they'd go to pornhub", i... kinda disagree. In the sense that i never though of "story" as a differential in any game, porn or not. To me, what makes video games interesting as a medium is the interactivity it provides. One that requires some kind of story, of course, as bare-bones as some games made them, but that should not, i think, take precedent over gameplay. That's also what i don't like in cutscenes: they take away from the gameplay by making the player sit down and do nothing besides clicking "next". Again, this is a complain i would leverage against most games, not just erotic ones.
TBH, that's why RPG Maker, as hated as they tend to be in this forum, are usually my favorites. In most of those the story doesn't matter, it's usually just the same old trope of a fantasy world, a demon king and a girl being fucked on every lost. But what they have is freedom to move around and to explore the world, many times with very little interruption.
That being said, to each their own. And at the end of the day, i did said HH does a better job than most games to balance the story and the porn. So don't take this a complain, it's just another perspective, i gess.

For some reason I can't start either Kali or Ashley's events for this update, anyone have a fix?
You're free to skip that story, I give the player two options to ignore the history. Did you not see this? Did this appear too late for you? I'm just trying to figure out the issue here.
Vanessa is very aware that you can't simply free an elf in this system, she just assumed you didn't inherit your elf, and she looked like a dumb ass for it.
You found the dots, but incorrectly connected them.
I take a lot of inspiration from the real world. "Write what you know" is a big part of my philosophy as a writer. The Capitol is a mix of Paris and Vatican City, very european-esque.
Syl'anar takes inspiration from both the Americas and Australia, with the struggle of foreign oppressors abundantly clear in the story here.
But here's the thing... Elves aren't human. They're a completely different genus, and it's also clear Drow are more like neanderthals. This story is about what would happen if humans didn't enslave their own race, but found a new species to take it out on, with all the bullshit justifications the people in power can come up with, like "all humans should be treated equally" being argued FOR elvish slavery, when those words were clearly meant to say "Treat all equally". I don't know if this is the first time you're hearing about fantasy races, but each race has their own perks and downsides. Dwarves for example have low light vision. Elves live longer. Orcs are stronger. Etc etc. Dwarves also take inspiration from nordic areas, and elves take inspiration from native american tribes, typically. (there's some controversy over Goblins taking after jews, but I don't want to get into that, I hope that isn't the case)
This specifically has faulty logic, humans showed up with superior weapons and technology because they're slower than humans. If you imagine this as a strategy game, humans develop tech at 2x the speed, but are less skilled. This is much different from comparing humans to humans. All humans have the exact same traits generally speaking.
It's also stated in the game that elves would actually make MUCH better leaders than humans. It's not that they're less intelligent, it's that they're slower. They grow slower, they learn slower. A 20 year old human would be able to do more than a 20(300) year old elf. But that elf can live for thousands of years and easily outcompete any human alive. This is the trade off. There is also scientific evidence of elves being better at things than humans, like with seeing in the dark, and obviously living longer.
Elves aren't inferior to humans, or superior. That's the point of this story point. They're just different. But they should be treated equally regardless. Even with the differences. The connection between elves and natives is just that. Elves are natives to their own land, as much as native americans and aboriginals are. I'm not comparing any race to Elves. Elves are of all colors, just like humans. The biggest difference here is that Elves are an entirely different biological genus, and the story revolves around that.
I'm not really sure how you found those connections you came up with, but one of the biggest stories in this world is fighting for elvish freedom, and treating them with equality. Why didn't you focus on any of that?

not running the mod, i deleted the entire HH file and unzipped it anew, everything was fine until going to the cafe and she agreed to wear the slutty schoolgirl outfit... i even went to the cafe with her 2 more times and instead of wearing it as she agreed to do, she kept wearing the default outfit

Other than some random typos throughout the game. Game has been going well. I also like the lore. However after healing Ellen explain grand pappy's dream. MC needs to hire a shit ton women for that 24/7 treatment. Runey's PC is gonna explode.
Only small complaints would be if you are very deep in days the calendar number is slightly pushed right, and that the stat screen doesn't have a key to explain color levels/stars/maximum states, and some of the transitions take an extra tiny bit of time, instead of being immediate.

I don't ever comment on here, but just wanted to say that the characterization and writing are really engaging and they compliment the h-scenes, whereas most story-heavy games have the two elements contradict each other. Thanks for making this, Runey. I download every update day 1 and always eagerly look forward to the next update. If I wasn't disgustingly broke, I'd donate to your Patreon (and hopefully will be able to once I can get a job after all this quarantine pandemic shit).
