so i can't seem to do Lin's challenge [Cornwall's orgy challenge] i've tried doing other things first, waiting a couple more days, etc.

i downloaded 8.2 patch and installed it. the screen still says 8.1 though

It looks as though the games files have somehow been corrupted, best bet is to download the full release of 0.8.2.

Edit: I just tested a copy of 0.8.1 with the 0.8.2 patch and it crashed with the same error

There seems to be an issue with the patch and cornwall event, which is weird the label is there *shrug* I don't know...
Use the full download version of 0.8.2 either from the mega links above or...

The biggest thing about Autumn is corruption. She's meant to go from this pure religious girl to a corrupted girl. All of these sex actions are new to her, and she rarely ever talks about sex, so yes it's uncomfortable for her. You can't corrupt without corrupting, she's not going develop by herself.

Everything surrounding "The girls barely give me the time of day" is meant to be much more sarcastic than a direct lie.

Also, a massive part of this game is training and pushing girls to do things they normally wouldn't, then they warm up to it. It's porn progression.

Oh yeah, I love the corrupting aspect, it was just the lying part we were talking about (though I get the sarcasm part). Could have been a lot of ways to go about it (like having her walk in on you with someone in a public place and get turned on), but we are where we are. It's progressing nicely, but yeah, the way it started was a bit ...uncomfortable. Maybe I am just too honest, not big on lying, like when I told Ashley I liked the others and told Felicity I liked Emma better... ;p It's gotten me in trouble many times in my life.

Oh well, no reason to take this too seriously, no matter how much I love the game.

What makes it awkwardfor me is I was under the impression that kind of thing wouldn't happen in this game. If this wasn't a game I love and follow I wouldn't care. Although having one objectionable thing in an entire game compared to countless things I adore about it is a pretty good ratio.

I would have prefered her to perhaps find one other resident of the hotel she could befriend and conversations between them would lead to Autumn being more and more curious about sex and the MC. The whole disease lie is silly as fuck and I can see the intention was that it'd be funny. But I wasn't thinking this game was "this" kind of silly. The stories feel relatable and pretty damn serious when you get down to it.

Parental abuse and neglect. Self esteem problems. Etc.

Please tone down the asshole levels a bit. Corruption was mentioned because that's what is happening.

Autumn's whole story has been weird. I haven't said much until now because I don't know if i should.

She gets into the hotel and proceeds to antagonize most of the other residents, she believes in a religion that's pretty strict on sexuality, and I like that, honestly. I think it's a very interesting start for a character in a game like this. There's a lot of potential for character development there and the idea of "helping her learn" about sex and love is cool. I don't like to use the word "corruption" here, though. It makes it sound like we're doing something evil with that hotel. That sex is a bad thing or something.



If I'm honest, however, with Autumn it kinda feels like we're doing wrong sometimes. Lying and manipulating, I agree with Master of Puppets. It seems out of character and not enjoyable. I was waiting. I thought maybe the lying was just a way to kickstart things and it would start to get better. Which it can still do.

I also agree that every other girls comes to love the MC because he's good to them. That's an important part of the game for me. I've never felt like a villain playing this game. It stretches suspension of disbelief quite a lot to have this many women in love with the same man, willing to share him, and all of that prety easily. But I'm willing to overlook that part.

I don't think I'll buy that Autumn falls in love with the MC if she keeps being lied to like this. By him or his "subordinates". Especially if it seems like she's buying it wholesale.

In conclusion (and tl;dr), I like Autumn as a character. I don't like how her "exploration of sexuality" is going. I do think it will get better in time, though.

I really think you guys are making a mountain out of a mole hill here.

Alright, let's break this event down then...


Autumn tells MC he should masturbate. MC asks "Are you offering to help?" Autumn becomes visibly embarrassed and stutters.

MC tells Autumn it would be easy to finish because she looks attractive.

Autumn admits showing off her body to MC would be best.

Seeing how obvious Autumn is getting turned on by this, MC pushes the conversation. MC knows she will not do anything without a push. MC puts out a sarcastic "Well, the girls here barely give me the time of day, and you know me, absolutely NO PORN!" in a porn game. To me, this is fairly obviously a joke. Although, I guess MC can't really look at porn in HH, can he? Unless you count pinups of your girls as porn, which Autumn wouldn't. To her it'd be more like showing your naked body off to your lover.

Or are we saying MC is evil for telling Lin nobody will dislike her body when she shows it off to everyone? Chances are, someone is going to find her unattractive, but MC pushes Lin, and lies to her, to get her to do something she already kind of wanted to do anyway, just like Autumn.

I would say the worst thing MC did to Autumn here is tell her he's sick. And if a porn sickness all about how you need to cum to not die really makes you think you were an asshole for saying you had that, I think that's quite ridiculous. It's a meta joke that the player is suppose to understand how ridiculous it sounds. Autumn is naive, so she's not sure how real this sickness is, but has her doubts. Even Autumn admits she doesn't believe that 100% but she ignores it initially, why? Largely because she's horny, and has been for over half her life. Regardless, she already has a wet spot on her panties from the conversation, and not to mention she wants these things, but it's against her teachings.

Also, I think v0.8 showed best that Autumn has quite the hidden slut deep down inside. She already wants to do these things, she wants to experience sex, but at the same time she "doesn't want to" because it's against her upbringing.

Literally no need to justify yourself to these folks. There's 7+ different women with varying levels of hypersexuality caked into them and there is one woman who requires coaxing and slow corruption arc, which is shaping up perfectly fine and rather tastefully. During the scene where the Android + Emma both tag-team to make up the 'pre-orgasm illness syndrome' I burst out laughing and genuinely enjoyed seeing that the other women are also not putting up with any of Autumn's nonsense. Frankly, if people don't like that out of the many many options in this game, there is a single decent corruption arc (if we don't count Stockholm-Syndrome-Lin) they can entertain themselves with all the other options. Mountain out of an ant-mound, nevermind a mole hill.

Especially when she's going along with everything while at the same time not being completely convinced.

Not all women like telling their partner what they like. A lot of women actually prefer being surprised even to the point of being angry that their partner can't read their mind. Some women don't even know what they like and prefer if their partner just makes the decision.
