To be fair, I see crap-value reviews everywhere, and everywhere on the internet (Steam, GOG, Rotten Tomatoes, Amazon) has a place to offer reviews.

I usually review games after they've been worked on for a while. I haven't played this game yet. Since you indicate it's helpful, I'll be sure to review it when I'm done with a couple of playthroughs.
Yeah, I see it too. But what I'm referring to specifically is the reviews that are fueled out of pure emotion here. People get genuinely angry at me for the silliest things. Look at my last post for a perfect example. These people then stalk my thread to Like any poor review that pops up, even if it goes against the very point they were making. This causes the valuable criticism to be drowned out.

Have you considered re-making any other characters? I think the new content is coming a bit quick, I think spend another few updates remaking the other characters, people clearly want that.

I'll only recommend a restart if I think it's absolutely worth it, and I don't think that will happen again until v0.19 or v0.20. At that point I should have all or most of the content I've wanted to remake completely remade.

Most of the content before v0.10 has needed to be remade in one way or another. Android's story was rearranged in v0.17 and had a lot of new context added. I don't plan on doing this forever, just until the game has a consistent quality. New people play the game every day, and the beginning makes the biggest impression, so it needs to be good. This is something a lot of devs here forget as they only focus on the latest content.

Not me, I love the characters and how they look.
In fact, this is the only game that uses that style of artwork that I don't just like, but really like a lot.
And as for personalities, I would not change a thing.

I was a mod on the original Star Wars message board (lead up to the Prequels - late 90's) and was a heavy participant on the original Bioware Social Network where people talked endlessly about Mass Effect and Dragon Age. I understand your frustration but this is honestly nothing new. My advice, just expect silliness and when it comes to a general level of interest in your project - I guess be flattered that so many people are interested in your project.

Back in the day companies and developers had Public Relations people to handle customer feedback. You are your own PR Dept now, so give yourself the leeway to take the helpful feedback and to "ignore" the silly feedback. It's always going to exist.

Also, people like developers who engage, but feel free to not get pulled into arguments. You're not obligated to answer every concern and gripe.

Sorry you're feeling frustrated, if you want, take a break and relax (not that you need my permission) and come back when you feel like it if there's some discussions you're still interested in. Cheers!

I suppose I can imagine that there are a tiny few players who don't want to see sex with Autumn, but Runey obviously isn't one of them, because he wouldn't have made her an NPC otherwise. Given that, why not let him tell a reasonable story on a reasonable timeline? Autumn's not Maria. She was always going to be more of a sexual challenge. And it just hasn't been that long since Autumn joined the "harem." She has issues specific to her character. Let them play out.

Is there really a lack of available sex in this game? I believe you can bang your way into eternity without story advancement, if that's your thing. Autumn is very specifically the sort of character to say, "I'd like to wait," and a realistic player would understand that.

Thanks for the tips, I'm mainly just venting because I like to engage, I know there is a core community here whos opinions I do value.

v0.17 took a long time as well, so I understand why people would feel frustrated.

Played it again from the start to see the new scenes, and I can't manage to trigger Vanessa's story. Did they change something? Is her story no longer available?

Have you visited Kali's college on a random day? That's where her content starts.

In game go to your room and sit down at the computer.
Click on the icon that looks like an open book.
That will take you to the wiki page where you can find hints on how to trigger character events.

What are you even saying here? How does this help anyone? What new information is being shared? How is me telling you that Autumn's sex is weeks away in game, not years, "Wrong on so many levels"? Do you know who you're talking to? I'm just lost.
I specifically marked it under a spoiler — and with a disclaimer — so you would not need to react at it. Nor did I claim it as a helpful information. Nor as a new information. You understand that all kind of people visit this thread and not everything written here is a "helpful, new information that adds value to the discussion"? My reply under spoiler was a bitter sarcasm — there, I said it. Chill.

Regarding reply...

I dislike that explanation because it is, uhhh, how do I say it without offending everyone even more... I'll probably leave it as is. I wrote under spoiler rough sketch of thought — but you don't need to read nor react to it.

As I said before.
You chose to play a game that is still being made.

Yes, it has been years in production, but if you had waited till it was released as a completed game, Autumn would have been fucked a long time ago in game time.
And you would have then moved on to another game.

Complaining about how long you have been waiting to fuck her, in a game that is still being made, is insane.
These games are posted here most often in incomplete forms so that game creators can get feedback from players about bugs and character development.
Since they are posted in updates, as a complete to that point game should be a major clue that one day the game will be finished and made available as a single download game.

Only play games when the game is complete, if you cannot wait to see events happening.
Playing while still in production means you may be waiting a long time for things to happen.
That is just common sense.

We've seen women who want sex right now, with various levels of token resistance — Lin, Maria, Kali, Ashley — and we've seen women who want some hoop-jumping (Android) and women who need some reassurance (the twins), but they've all been very eager to have sex.

Autumn's not like that. She genuinely doesn't want to have sex, but she's constantly exposed to it and the whole environment of the hotel is obviously making her curious and horny. Spreading her legs after a single week would've been a massive betrayal of her character.

Dude: everyone wants Autumn to have sex. Especially including Runey, because he gave her a room. Just calm your tits for a while. It'll happen.

At least remade scenes better than woke shit monologues about elfs slavery. Snorefest. I don't know why developer wastes so much time to repeat "slavery = bad" sentence in millions lines of booring text like a broken record.

Sometimes it looks like he just stuck with main plot of the game and trying to put meaning into it by bring up some serious topics, which is unwanted and inappropriate for a porn game imho. It's his game and he can put as much political bullshit in it as he likes, but for me it's just looks repulsive and cringe.
Came to say something similar.
Really not a fan of the whole "anti-slavery revolution" plot line.

The main problem is, these sorts of topics are pretty serious, and they need to be treated with a certain amount of gravitas to them. Currently going through the event where

and I can't help but think that this whole event is just an enormous bunch of naive wishful thinking.

I've seen how anti-communist protests looked like in my country. There's no way that 20 college kids would start anything meaningful enough to bring about any change. The truth of the matter is, the police wouldn't even need to shoot them, they would just beat them unconscious, arrest them, then drag them into some secluded interrogation room, and only then continue with the real handiwork. The father, telling his subordinates to lower their guns when he sees his daughter? That's not happening. He has someone above him - if he's the chief in town, then it's the chief of the regional police. If he's the regional chief, then it's the central command. If the state is this hell-bent on stopping anything pertaining to the anti-slavery movement, this sort of social unrest would make national news within an hour, and then the chief head of the police would be coming down on this guy's ass, because if he didn't, then the politicians would be coming down on his.

And the best part is - the dad-policeman would know this. So sure, he might not use live ammo, but he would definitely not stand around for hours on end, just waiting till the college kids get bored with their terrorism make-believe, and instead would just tell his subordinates to overpower a bunch of teenage girls and make quick work of them within a couple of hours.

The whole event relies on the premise that the public opinion already does not condone the idea of slavery. If the public opinion did condone the institution, the media being there would mean exactly squat, as the police would catch more flak for not dealing swiftly with the wannabe terrorists, rather than for being violent with them. And if the public opinion does not, in fact, condone slavery, then there's no point in any revolutions in the first place - you just need to get the word out and connect people together, something which would be already happening sporadically on the internet and in the public spaces.

Instead, we get a feeling that any criticism of the current slavery system is being heavily censored... While at the same time being told that this system is being condoned by the society - you don't need state censorship in a system that is approved by the society.

What the author has created, to me, seems like a world where the government unilaterally introduced the institution of slavery, with most people disagreeing with it, but for some reason they are also at the same time convinced that everyone else condones it - which implies heavy use of social engineering and governmental propaganda, which in turn implies that the world has much bigger issues than just elves being enslaved.

And all of these topics are entirely fine to explore in fiction - but not in a light-hearted porn game about a dude boning ten chicks in a hotel, inherited from his grandpa. In order to treat these issues with proper respect, you need to plan for this sort of shit from the very beginning and design your story around these concepts - instead, this seems like the author just blindly stumbled into this storyline, and continues to dig deeper, to reach God only knows what.

I loved this story first, and I didn't mind some of the heavier plot lines here and there, but this whole anti-slavery revolution storyline has definitely been a turning point for the worse. I was hoping the author would drop it at some point, but I see that the whole thing just keeps escalating, with the author seemingly not understanding the gravitas of such social movements.

Oh! I recently recovered this game and I must say that, for only v.017 there is an absurd amount of material, good job! Anyway, how sweet is Lin?! my favorite character without a doubt! perhaps the only thing I would like to see a little different are the interactions of the protagonist, that is, he tends to have too sudden changes of character (apart from the moments in which we can choose what to say). I love all the characters, as well as the story is really interesting to me, I just wish the protagonist had a little more defined character. (I don't know if I explained myself well... anyway, too curious to know how things will go on!)
