Hey, I agree that patreon should crack down on people who have abandoned their project and still collect money
I, for one, don't trust Patreon.

If Patreon starts cracking down on "abandoned" projects, I bet your ass that they'll shut down Runey's page as well because there's been no updates in 2 weeks or somethin' and Patreon's a bitch. And that abandoned rule will probably apply to porn creators exclusively as well.

Kinda like how Patreon already is lenient with super bloody Horror gore, but cracks down on vanilla sex with characters that have small boobs or threesomes with sisters or nude animations drawn in non-Western styles

Actually the abandonment perspective on that is most likely also if the creator pretty much doesn't even say a word to patreon admins themselves in terms of T.O.S it's like any sort of subscription that has creators and supporters/subscribers..Patreon is getting pretty shady for stuff at least they aren't functioning as bad as for example Onlyfans.

Patreon is pretty shitty, especially Mastercard and whoever else they're forced to bow to in order for anyone to make money. Patreon is pro sex work, but Mastercard is not. But Patreon's administration is abysmal. They send us polls every few months, but I don't know anyone confident enough in Patreon to leave their feedback, it's sad. Like, I've emailed staff at patreon reporting pedophiles making money on their website, but because that content wasn't on their site, they didn't care. Now they certainly would if I took this to Fox News or CNN, but I'm not trying to expose myself either. And besides that, they ruined the site design to make pledging to us the first thing you see, instead of what the creator is even creating.

Look at this! It's horrible. You know nothing about what I'm creating or who I am unless you click that tiny About button

i need to add here that the creator is responsible to give out the rewards for the "level" on the Patreon so legally in many nations Patreon can not be called simply a donations due to they get rewards every month they are subscribe to a creator so in a way the creator has a duty to insure the the rewards included in the "level" that a user is subscribe at is send out aka that the subscribers gets they rewards so Patreon is and never is just a "tip jar" and can legally not as i said be called a donation due to the rewards a Donation in many nations can not have a reward for it and no the message you get when donation to charity does not count

to long did not read because i hate when people tell the hard truth= patreon is not a donation site it is a support creators site and get rewards its never called a donation and it legally in many nations can not be called a donation due to the rewards

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

my own personal opinion is that Patreon should start to enforce the rules more as many creator are abusing it as fuck to just scam people of they money of Patreon legit did enforce the rule about no active creator page if you can not provide the Rewards within reason then it would force all does creators that scam users to quit and many would be force to legit do WORK on they projects and Patreon should make also check that a creator does not just abuse it to give out minimal sign of work on they thing that the creator page is for
No-one died and made it any of your business.

That and they made it worse in their latest update (some month or years ago).
As a customer - of course I often see it here first - I would be intressted in the product first and after that then in the tiers. "Getting access to the lastest version 3 days after tier nr. 2" don't really say something about the product at all.

they are incentives, and are offered by the person, not patreon. It's still a donation. A person is not required to deliver on a "promise". Yes, some places do have restrictions with patreon. From wat I understand, these restrictions are too strict to make a living off of by trying to go the "these are donations" route.

As I said, a donation is when people give things and get nothing in return. Patreon isn't a donation website; it's a platform where creators can receive payment for the content they're selling.
You can say something as many times as you like, doesn't make you right. Proof: PBS solicits donations during their pledge drives, in thanks for which they will send you various gifts like a tote bag or a DVD of the program playing when you pledge, depending on various factors like when you call and what minimum threshold your donation surpasses. Despite the fact you receive something in return, the transaction is in fact a donation, legally. It's even tax-deductible as such.

Well, my understanding of Patreon was not deep. After some review, I do believe that sserobinsse is correct, as in: Patreon is a place for people to sell things.

However, to say that these are transactions is not correct, but neither are donations. The answer is that it depends. The main point is that Patreon is just the hub for people to trade money for "service". And it can actually be used by people seeking donations to fund a project, donations to charity, or to sell services.

Whether it's a legally enforceable transaction depends on whether you're paying a business, organization, or an individual. An individual has no legal obligation to complete the transaction without a contract. It is just an informal agreement between individuals, or at least that's what I assume, and most of the creators here fall under this category.

So, yes, they're right that Patreon is for selling things, but not when it comes to legal liability.

And now, I'm done derailing.

The conversation started with what I was doing with Patreon, not what Patreon says they offer. This isn't a thread about Patreon after all. I do not sell anything on patreon at the moment, but I plan to. Let's get back to topics surrounding Harem Hotel.

Yeah that's as well like similar sites that have "subscribe to view" setups anything related to adult/sex/porn content sites are very shady on how the viewing is allowed. Also I did post a comment in regards to precisely on the tags that it was stating actual incest interactions so when and who is going to get that torch passed to?

You're going to have to be a bit more specific on the unlocking part - because she unlocks almost immediately after getting the 2nd floor, which is like... 10-20mins? of gameplay if you focus your money on that. That's nearly the start of the game.
Hmm. I had just finished the clocktower story quest with Ashley, was decently progressed on all characters besides Autumn. Had no progress on the dungeon. The save doesn't have to be perfect, whatever you can share would be appreciated.
