[BUG] New save, fresh copy of the game, trying to go to the beach while exploring corpus as soon as possible does not work. Crashes with the exception below. Also seemed to be bugged later on.

Sun Sep 7 13:41:38 2025That code's been around for a while, of course, to make F&E twins rather than clones (neither make any sense, with E's boobs being roughly 3x the size of F's, but oh well). But Kali/Luci content was available without any patch or cheat--it sounds like that content is now locked behind a cheat code too (the same one).

Kali/Luci's story line has been locked behind that same code for at least 3-4 years by now. It wasn't a recent change by any degree.
Big fan of the update dev! Quite enjoyed the new story elements. One note, I still feel that there are too many events that happen when I start up the game. Do you think maybe you can stagger them a bit more in time, the first time after an update?
Also, a question for the thread: I have Kate as 9/10, but no exclamation point, nor any idea how to continue her story. Any tips?

Felicity and Emma being twins does make sense if they are fraternal twins which is probably the case and even with identical twins there can be some physical differences depending on how they take care of themselves.
Also while very rare there are cases of what's called Semi-identical twins and the even rarer Mirror-image twins.
Now that I think about it they probably are Semi-identical twins which would explain the breast size difference.

Opa was referring to the bugs, which there are still too many for some people to start playing it.
It's common for people who have been playing these games for a while to ask before downloading, to avoid having to deal with game crashes.
I'm assuming the "massive" Nia event the changelog talks about was removed from the update, since it doesn't seem to trigger no matter what I do.
...but that doesn't fit with their being clones.
Sure, if Emma's heavier overall, she's going to (well, likely to) have larger breasts. But somehow all her extra weight is there, nowhere else in her body? Nah.
They even comment on this, recognizing that it's weird.
I have the same problem, and I've seen a few other comments from people too.
I finished the update, I got what I thought was the public release from Itch. Now, whenever I enter the lobby, my room, use the stairs, or knock on anyone's door, I get the whole "You've completed the update, thanks, for played, more will come in 0.20" completion box Every. Single. Time. Is there a way to stop it? I have never used a mod or anything, only a clean version of the game. I did do the update, I didn't download the 14 gig version of the game.

Read my previous post again I also mentioned they could be Semi-identical twins which would explain it.
As Semi-identical twins is when a single egg gets fertilized by two different sperm. So they would be around 60% identical at the very least and be 90% identical at the most.
Also clones are not perfect copies as was seen with the first cloned cat, Cc, had the same DNA as her donor cat, Rainbow, but looked different because Cc was a grey and white cat, while Rainbow was a calico with orange, black, and white fur.
Factors like diet, upbringing, and random gene expression patterns contribute to a clone's unique development, making it different from the original.
I'm literally studying Genetics at MIT, although I just started last year.

Right, but the story also needs to fit the "official" narrative, which is that they're clones. And in that case, the DNA would (or at least should) be identical. Moreover, if they were fraternal, or semi-identical, twins, they'd presumably know, and be able to explain, that fact (and if they were semi-identical, they'd surely know they were one of two known cases of this worldwide). But they don't--they leave it as, "it's weird that we're twins/clones, but her boobs are bigger than mine." It wouldn't be weird if they were fraternal twins; that's just how they are. Semi-identical twins would be weird in that they're extremely rare, but again seems like something they'd know. The fact that they recognize, but can't explain, the incongruity is, well, a little odd.
I mean, the bottom line is, "it's just a game, I should really just relax."
