Spanking can be avoided. Mind control and slave are sepparate from romance, but can't be avoided completely. Some light stuff like making the girl show her panties on lower levels and undress on higher is enough for progress, though.

Actually if I've gotten into the game it's because, in addition to harem and romance, I like to actively avoid mind control that leads to sex scenes. I mean, I like having the option and saying no.
As for other uses of mind control... I don't really care. So if the mandatory mind control stays there and no goes further, I might be interested.

We might add complete break route for other girls in the future and the girl you mind control in this version is completely emotionless on lower levels.
Man, I see you in so many mind control games.
There's so many white knight option games out there, please let us have a game where we can be a bastard.

About avoidance:
Mind control can't be avoided completely, but if you don't want to see some harder scenes, you can just make the girl just show you her panties on lower levels or undress on higher.
About mechanics:
It's trainer like. You need to do some lewd stuff with the girl to level up her control level.
About justification:
We didn't want to make main character a villain. So his main plot uses of the device will be justified by something: the girl may be his enemy, for example, or he may just not have any other choice, but to mind control someone innocent. BUT it does not mean that there won't be some optional questionable stuff.
Is there gonna be more spanking in the game? I get it is optional, I just mean are we gonna be able to see other characters with spanking scenes?
