When you get sold at the auction it's 50/50 which owner you get. If you want to check out Shireen's slave route i recommend saving before the auction and reload untill you get sold to her.
In the build I've played, I tried to pass to plaisant view as soon as possible without selling myself (Need a good reputation). Then, I worked at the mine, the restaurent of plaisant view (Need a good reputation also) and earn money from the casino. As long as I paid the rent to shireen, I kept the house at harshville.
If you loose your house, you can sleep at the mine. I hope that will help you.

I love both Harshvile and NB but for me, it sucks updates boil down to poll results.
Most of the peeps on that thing obviously came for Harshville, and care about it a bit more, which makes sense.
But NB is so new and creative in terms of the story, that you just sort of wish he would just do the "this new update is Harshville, and next update is NB" on the regular.
i just think its way easier to vote for the option with most content in it.

there is definitely that bias, but at the same time it should even out in the future as more content is added, and ultimately loosing patreon supporters over working on one instead of the other could slow down long term development which would be worse overall for both games. hopefully with more supporters though he could get someone to flesh out other arcs because one arc at a time with only some additions per update is not exactly optimal. or maybe he could find a volunteer for some stuff as well. also someone with graphics may be needed at some point as well. at this point tho, it is more important to only work on these two projects another is definitely too thin for one person.

Yes, you can. If you go to downtown pleasantville you can take the elevator to the basement and buy a slave down in the cave. There is however no content there yet.
