Don't get me wrong, while it's true that EI could fall into that group, at the end of the day, it has had only four updates. The first two are like you said, but the third and fourth ones actually contain sexual content with different characters.
I'm not that strict in this regard. I understand that if you want to tell a story like EI does, you can't have Ashe and the other characters throwing themselves to suck cock at every opportunity they get. That would kill the immersion with the duplo thing for example. Plus, EI has some of the best writing currently, alongside Pale Carnations. I wouldn't want the game to become a sex fest, there are other games for that, like Inner Growth.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's normal for a game to not have sex scenes in the first two updates or so, in my opinion. What's not normal is having a game with four updates, 6000 renders, and a deliberately slow burn to milk Patreon supporters, I despise that.
Futagenesis is a game that has been out for almost two years between its release and the last update, with more than 5k renders, and maybe around 4 hours of gameplay, aaaaand it has zero sex scenes outside of the ones mentioned. I just wanted to know in which direction Having a Hard Time was heading. I'm relieved to know it's closer to EI than to Futagenesis.

I don't mean this as a negative thing, Eruption Imminent is going in a good direction so far.
Although I feel lucky to have found out about Futagenesis later rather than sooner, seeing how it ended would have been very disappointing.

Futagenesis Unveiled is only on its 3rd update they are just numbered weird it goes from. 2 to 4 to 6 and there are 3 actual scenes between the mc and one of the girls a couple of scenes where she's peeking on someone a few of we see her masturbating and what she is fantasizing about and a few that are just her fantasizing

I'm playing the path of being dominant evil (and a sub for Alessandra) I've been following the game for 3 years (?) and while it's a really good game in my opinion it has a lot of room for improvement in terms of writing. Definitely true that it would be boring if we all liked the same things.
For instance, you mentioned EI, and I find the writing and characters of this title (Having a HARD Time) more interesting than the ones found there, with the exception of a couple.
While EI does have an interesting premise, the storyline and character interactions here are more engaging and thought-provoking.
Just my opinion, of course.

For me minus the exception of 2 characters in that other game I like and find most of the characters in this game more

It's a difficult comparison, since both are the best FMC Futa games out there, I think both have many good points, but in a different way, in HHT the tone at the beginning is more comical and very funny, it has a classic beginning of those college comedy movies, but then at the end of episode 1 it changes and you can see that there is more on the surface than what was seen.
With EI the tone is more relaxed and natural, I would say that it is a little more serious in comparison wanting to go more slowly getting to know its characters little by little, without mentioning the social issue of discrimination that affects the protagonist and that is a fundamental axis of the plot.
So I have a frame of reference, what's the difference between "Love" and "Corruption", and how much does "Willpower" matter?

I think it is still unknown how to handle the theme of "love" and "corruption", hopefully with the new update we will know how it will be.

It's kind of strongly implied she's got some deep issues, to the point where she's probably bordering on suicidal. But then she goes to school, puts on her mask of fake happiness, and she's popular because people see the fake persona and react to it. None of them know the real her. None of them like the real her.
If you tell her you love her, you're basically just admitting to being yet another of the people who don't understand her. Which just makes her even sadder.
Her negative reaction to you telling her you love her is probably a combination of that, and also whatever her issues are making her feel like no one could ever love the real her anyway. You're not going to "fix" her by telling her you love her, or by pursuing her (people probably do that all the time). If you want to win her over, we're going to need to understand her. Find out what her issues are, prove that we now know the real her, and then still show an interest in loving her. And then love (and a giant cock) can help heal her.

I'm not sure how likely this is but the points may tie into the mc getting rid of the penis and how that character feels about her afterwards. Maybe if the relationship focuses on corruption than she is no longer interested in the mc. And with love she stays with the mc.

I like it, it's a very good theory, maybe (it's just speculation) this has to do with the hidden fetishes in each character, it's interesting to see what kind of kink the blonde would have, maybe something shady like being a sadist, it would be a great contrast to her good girl facade at school.
Of course this is probably not the case but it's fun to guess.
It sounds interesting, something like making the LI fall in love with her for her person instead of her penis, then using the penis to make them fall in love with her would be like the corrupt path.
