They will only give him the page back when the issue is resolved. It doesn't mean that they haven't been in contact yet. The game heavily implies at the start that the characters are supposed to be related so it wouldn't be surprising if they demanded that he changed the code so you can't set the relationships and/or to change any dialogue that implies they are related.
I don't think he would be dumb enough to let a cash cow like that die. Unless of course like you said, he is dead.

Was his and his subs fault for using Patreon in the first place. Should have just used other platforms like SS that don't care and took the pay cut like a lot of devs seem to be doing lately, even when their AVN has no incest (ie Selera, probably just to have the creative freedom when/if their story wants to evolve into something Patreon doesn't like, which these days isn't hard to do since that list is worse than Hays-Code long). I'm not foolish enough to sub to anyone on Patreon at all but if I did and he did that I'd unsub the instant I realized shit was changed. And I'd hope someone else here would simply put the incest back with a patch as often happens, which makes it ultimately pointless for Patreon to try to censor it considering 99% of AVN subs come from here anyway, unless they simply start banning all porn as they probably should just to simplify things for themselves when it comes to TOS enforcement. Which begs the question, when is F95 going to skip Patreons bullshit and simply start integrating their own AVN payment/support platform? Just put a couple layers of shell companies between them and Visa/MC and censorship would be much harder (which is what Subscribestar probably did, it's how they get away with censoring nothing besides C P, allowing financing of pirate sites or terrorist cells, and other things that are illegal pretty much everywhere).

Trust me people wouldn't have been fine in the slightest if it had happened. It would have been more worse of an ending than what we saw in acting lessons imo

I'm currently working on Re-Writing the dialogue for the game to make it more enjoyable to read, and another guy is silently working on the images. Can't say how it'll all pan out but there are people doing things in the background..

It just wouldn't be the same unfortunately. Finding someone talented enough to match Xev's tone, and more importantly, graphical and animating ability would be incredibly difficult. Anyone that talented would likely just work on their own project with all the benefits that original, solo venture entails.

There may be many decent writers out there, but I have seen few if any 3dcg animators who are able to show body physics (or any physics/gravity at all) and movement as well as this dev. Not only that, but also including the impressive number of body physics animations per episode that Xev did recently? You would be looking for unicorn at this point. I just don't think there is large pool of talented animators matching these qualifications who are just waiting for Commissioner Porndon to light up the AVN bat signal so they can jump into blueballs fighting action for our Heart Problems benefit.

This theoretical 3dcg artist X listed above would rather have their own independent money faucet because if Xev ever spontaneously returned (however doubtful), then artist X's pseudo project and money faucet would quickly dry up.

I feel sad; the chances of this project continuing development seem slim.

To be honest, I think the story of Heart Problems is quite mediocre, with the only highlight being Amelie . However, this is also remarkable because Amelie truly stands out—her unforgettable appearance, in my opinion, is only matched by Isabella from Being a DIK.

If we set aside the aesthetic aspects and focus solely on the animation, it's true that the animation in Heart Problems likely ranks in the top five on F95 for me. The only one I can think of that might rival it is Flirty F. Overall, I don't believe the animation itself is an issue. I've seen part of the code, and the animation runs at 30 frames per second, repeating five times per cycle. If you have the patience, you could replicate the same effect, but for most people, that’s already a challenging hurdle.

I also agree that trying to continue this seemingly dead project purely out of passion might be a bit naive, unless one doesn't care about the income or the effort required.

The truth is the girls in this game are hotter than in 99% of games on this site. Render and animation quality wise Heart Problems is top notch idk why a lot of people in this thread downplay it just because they dont like xeno. There are very little games with this good animation and lewd scenes especially using the 'more realistic' graphics and not the anime Honeyselect engine. I do agree that the story is pretty mid but the build up and progression is well done imo.
