These guys expect Devs to work for free, like they're slaves or something. God forbid they have personal issues such as death in family or personal illnesses.This forum is amazing. People love playing these games, but they hate that devs make money off of them.

Well, this is a pirate forum....We all know where contributions can be deposited. Now if only people would shut up about the rest, since it doesn't concern them either way.

I get where you're coming from, but that's unfortunately not always the case - not all game devs are honest and hard working people, as some (if not most) purposely stall the development of their games to rip-off their fans/audience.

And not all Devs are scam artists.
And isn't he from Russia? I'm sure he has other things he has to focus on. It seems as if people are either complaining about "milking" or "blueballs" or both. I want my Amelie content just as much as anyone but I know there are dozens of other games to entertain me in the meantime.

I for one expect no one to work for free, but I also expect something in return for my money that I also worked hard to earn. The dev also has the option to turn off payment if they feel they need time away, Stiglet does/did that quite often.
I'm not really talking about this dev in general because I haven't played this game yet because it's too early for the content I'm looking for.
I support like 8 devs (will be cutting that down due to lack of release/communication, oh yeah the obligatory "I'm reworking the internal workings of the game to make it easier for me to develope updates faster for the Nth time, so this next update won't have the content, but by golly underneath the game won't have changed either but it's a fine excuse to use because no one will be able to tell"...
the Dev is just busy training himself to do animations will working on the next release(not complaining). But that is the reason for the delay.
Any developer can maintain 700+ paid subscribers with twice a year update/release is a genius and the faithful followers are godsend.
By observation, in order to dilute spam and to alert naive would be subscriber, try to post 'when the last release was' at least once on every new forum page. Truth matters !!!
