Oddly enough...or sadly enough, dev did speak of heart/health problems before. Mfer even said he has hemorrhoids. :poop: Damn!

It really seems like his personal life is a mess. Health issues, law issues, and in my opinion..burnout on game development. Back when he was still posting, often times it sounded like his general enthusiasm was waning. I think Patreon shutdown is a convenient way for him to quietly step away with an excuse. He could say, see no patreon, can no longer work on game without compromising my vision and the integrity of the story/ :cautious: or some shit.

Just wish he could be bothered to make a genuine final post to his supporters stating it is over instead of going the scumbag ghosting route like so many others.

Ladies and gentlemen, coomers and gooners, it is with a heavy heart that I must inform you that I can no longer work on Heart Problems. I won't bore you with the sad details, but suffice it to say, some very serious real life issues have made it impossible for me to continue. Henceforth, please consider the game abandoned. I know this is not the kind of message you wanted to hear, but I feel that I owe it to you to be honest. I sincerely thank you for all of the love and support you have given to me and to the lovely ladies of Heart Problems game these past years. You have truly been the steadfast Chewbacca to my Han Solo. (Now you can be the Princess Leia to my Han Solo because I am fucking all of you right in the ass...something you will now never get to see from Amelie in game btw, ha)

For porn game devs that have gone MIA I don't see why not. With AOA Academy which is abandoned with the dev ghosting everyone some genius simply grabbed the last version from here and while impersonating the dev put it on Steam where idiots have been buying it, even though they probably won't be doing anything with it either other than selling someone else's abandoned half-finished game. If I knew how and had the patience to rebuild all the shit used in this along with a few other formerly popular abandoned AVNs (models, objects, hair, clothes, locations, buildings, rooms, other backgrounds, music, etc) I'd do it for the bragging rights, fuck the money. If they are suddenly worried about what some random is doing with something they abandoned let them get in line and sue me (if they can even find me, no money to follow) and get a summary judgement they can't collect (ungarnishable welfare ftw, wouldn't be the first time).

Maybe he died? It wouldn't be the first dev to do so (ie that Lexi dev). Oh well, fuck that asshole for dying before he finished his AVN, dammit. If his estate wants funeral money from me one of his relatives better pick up where they left off and finish my fap material.

^Me when i can't accept the fact that the game is abandoned and i need to convince other people to accept it and put a tag on it first so i can finally accept it and move on.

Anyone recommend any games like this one slow burn with the LIs, but rewarding in the end?
I know of a few, but almost none with this quality of graphics or development of the LIs where they slowly give it up.

The abandoned tag is just a mere " useless self-psychological satisfaction". It's already abandoned, no matter how you look at it. Patreon Page return would have given a bit of hope, but it's obvious Dude is no longer around.

Staff members should lock threads with abandoned tag and ONLY unlock them if an update ever comes out. I really like this game and Dev is talented. It's sad things turned out this way and I get it pplz are mad, sad, and whatever... but endless whining won't change anything. F95 members should learn to let go and move on. This isn't the first abandoned game and it won't be the last. Hundreds before Heart Problems were dropped since 2016. There's no way this game is coming back. Peace out guys.

My hypothesis is different: DEV is from somewhere in South America. With this money he became a rich man there who attracted attention. Some bad guys confiscated it. Thus, under their command, the cow was milked as much as possible. The images given up to a certain point were part of what has been worked on. Their goal was to show that they are still working. The payments continued until there was effectively nothing left to work on and nothing left to present. This is the present moment. DEV, if he comes back, will tell you that he was seized by a cartel from South America.
