anyone else having the problem that the radial menu on desktop not showing up anymore when hiting [tab] ?

just silly question any way to emulat (like virtualy simulate) the irl toys without actually uhm.... u know
I've found it can occasionaly glitch and show the menu but not actually do what it should, restarting was usually the only fix for me.
Might be technically possible if you have other software that can tell your PC that it's one of those toys and not a VR controller, like how people used to make PS4 controllers look like xbox controllers to use on PC, but given how niche it is...you might be looking at writing the code for it yourself.
Theoretically you could simply use the api they give out for the stuff to make it vibrate anything.

- Running the game as admin
- Re-downloading and re-extracting the game. The download getting corrupted is surprisingly common
- Make sure an antivirus isn't messing with Heat
- Adding the game as a non-steam game then running from within SteamVR (if not working in VR)
- Reinstall/validate SteamVR
- Update video drivers
- Clicking on the game window with your mouse when the game is open then putting on your VR headset (if the laser doesn't work)
- Make sure the game isn't installed within any folders that have winky faces or other unusual characters in them
- Restart the game

They've been doing ads for a while now; that was how I found the game in the first place.
Hmm... looks like it's just some minor tweaks and fixes this update, I'll probably just skip it.
