It is generally pretty easy to tell when a developer has an overarching story planned out versus when they are flying by the seat of their pants (or Patreon polls). Not that losing the plot is the only reason that devs end up abandoning games, but this is one of the games I am least concerned about being abandoned because the dev runs out of story to tell.
Pausing their Patreon payments when they feel like they are not progressing the planned plot is also a pretty good indicator that they are not just trying to soak people for extra cash.

Chapter Five is in the hands of the beta testers.
Development was paused for the remaster which was triggered by needing to upgrade to the latest Ren'Py distro. Which was done because "it's better to do it now when I'm only four chapters in than later when all 8 chapters are done." At which point after having spent (IIIRC) two years developing the first four chapters, Notty had learned how to do everything better... and the first 4 chapters no longer lived up to the level of polish she was putting on Chapter Five... and the UI changes... etc... so may as well go back and re-remaster to bring all four chapters up to Five's polish...
And that is all now done. Chapter 5 is with the beta testers for the last 'bug check' pass.
Notty routinely turns off funding through Patreon when there is no development ongoing.

Ok, thanks. Was there a break or something? Because Ch 4 seems to have been out for a long time. I'm only asking because I've only just found the game and there's so much different information about it online.

A lot happened with the dev, she paused Patreon for most of the months since CH4 was released.
You can find out all that happened through her Patreon page, quite a few of the posts are public.
I don't know how to contact the developer, but i had a few suggestions.
Either becca should be Intergrared into the game or removed altogether, because transions between chapter feel a bit odd and tedious.
The time, it keeps moving so fast and we have no control over it and since the game has so many routes, it's just easy to miss out on many things and it's no fun rollying back everytime
Kelly so far there's no independent route for her without the Chris femdom lady

People love Becca, chances of her being removed are between none and absofuckinglutely zero.
The game is purposefully set up that way. You will never see everything in one playthrough.

Chapter transitions were removed, Becca now exists (currently as of Chapter 4) only in the very beginning of the game.
I seem to be the only one who misses the chapter transitions with Becca.

You are not alone. I miss those too. The recap/info screens are perhaps more clear/useful, but it'd still be fun to see Becca once and a while.
Wait what? I see her every time a chapter ends and since it's only limited to a day, and it ends quite fast depending on what route you choose, and then you have to click Yes,Yes and just get to it, everytime, since i am only interested in the story and i meant, just make it so it she is security room or part of the pda incase some wants to ask those questions. Whenever she appear after every chapter with a surprise look it seems more like i am reading a book rather than playing the character itself
Honestly tho,i had to download the compressed one, since anon and nopy are dead, Mix is very slow, Mega won't let you download larger bigger files unless pay for it. And i didn't know where else to get it from. Atleast not a trusted source. So maybe that version still has those transitions

I'd be incredibly surprised if this game was not classed as abandoned like it should have been. It has been more than a year since it's last update with absolutely no word from the so called developer during that time. Pausing their patreon account was the correct thing to do, but I honestly wonder how long it took them to pause the account in the first place, 6 months or a more recent time frame where they paused it? I enjoyed the game, but after such a long time, and the strange behavior of the developer, and now completely forgetting about the story due to how long ago I played this game with it's last update, it doesn't fill me any optimism there will be any new update...no matter how much I wish there was. I've seen this happen way too many times, from far too many devs, who make their claims I am just doing this or that, or the update it out to the proof readers etc, it never see's the light of day..so we'll see and i'll reserve my judgment, but as I said when games have no updates and no communication for more than a year...it doesn't look good for the future of the game...that and the fact there are two versions of which one of them was dropped, classic symptom of a developer not knowing where they are going..remastering turns out to be an excuse of sorts. I Hope I am wrong in this, but bitten to many times..no matter what anyone says. Until an update appears..

Claiming "no word from the so called developer since last update" is outrageous. She's decided to stay away from this forum that is often times filled with negativity but she's been active on Patreon. Some users even posted links to those Patreon posts so you can't even claim ignorance on that. It just tells me that you wanted to bash the dev without doing any research.

He was referring to the last leaked version of the game Ch.2RS, already an older version of the March 2023 one which was overwritten during an unfortunate backup..
In the OP, it's under 3 GB on Mega or use the compressed one, not recommanded though.
And please, use their Mega App (also allowing you to resume a larger download than around 5 GB the next day) instead of their web page downloader.. It's a piece of shit!!

if you donated something to the F95 zone, apply for the Donor DDL. less to worry about which source to trust (if you trust the F95 team) or additional paywall or additional downloaders or ads or whatever else other DL sites 'serve' to annoy you. files larger than 3GB shouldn't be a problem.
you won't find mods and the likes to DL, though.
