That's the old game. The re-re-re-re-remastered version (I kid, I'm pretty sure it's just 2 remasters deep right now) has removed the chapter endcaps with Becca.

I kinda wish there were a way to chose to have one or the other, but I understand that's more work than Notty wants and it never fit with her vision of the game and was just a place holder until she could figure out something better.

is so friggin good. I get anyone worried it'd be a spammy ad and virus riddled plague app, but it's not. It's has a tiny footprint, runs beautifully in the background, even on my ankient machine - I can run it dl'ing for hours and watch videos play games with no hick-ups - and puts the dl'ed files in the place you designate. I've been using it for years, no issues, no constant nagging update reminders (I don't think it's updated once in the five+ years I've used it) or $$ begging, nothing. It's a completely free app, proved by MEGA.io and it's honestly... yeah, it's honestly the best app I've seen come out of a professional environment in over decade. (I'm running MEGAsync 4.3.8, not sure if the latest is still that version.)

The only real "drawback" is that it claims to adhere to the '5 gig max/per day' thing, but it will immediately resume down/uploading as soon as the timer pings... which I think is less than 24 hrs? I've dl'ed like 20 gigs in 3 days before, so I think the app has a faster counter reset.

Aaah, yes. I'll immediately just accept the endorsement of a complete stranger that the Mega App isn't a "spammy ad and virus riddled plague app". Because people NEVER lie on the Information Superhighway (also: they're NEVER wrong!). ESPECIALLY whenever they have "evil" right in their name - I mean, NOBODY who's actually evil would be stupid enough to say so outright, so that proves it. I'll just download that thing right now, give it admin rights over my hardware and tell it whatever it wants to know, and if it is my social security number or my home address or my bra size, then so be it! I'M SOOOO READY!!!

This is why I use a downloader (Jdownloader2), to bypass all that.

Timer on the app is 6 hours, so you can get 20 gigs in a little over 24 hours (the countdown begins when you hit the limit, so it's 24 hours plus however long it takes to download the 20 gigs) if your computer is awake for the relevant periods.

Pfft! Amateurs!
Step1. Download 5gb using Chrome as a guest (without logging in to Mega)
Step 2. Open Firefox and go back
Step 3. It will NOT register you as the same person, allowing you to continue,
and it WILL auto-detect that you already have a partial version of the file and proceed from there
Step 4. Download the next 5gb
Step 5. Open Opera, etc. etc., no waiting, you are limited only by the number of different browsers you're willing to install
(NOTE: last time I pulled that was over a year ago, they may have caught that and fixed it)

Well, obviously stating my own experience won't help alleviate your paranoia, then. I'll just say that what you describe is a totally different app than the MEGA app I use (v5.6.1).
