Given the size of the update I expect at least a month of testing. That isn't in any case an ETA btw, I have no insight on the release schedule and I've already been blamed in the past for making educated guesses on release dates. Why anybody would put so much weight on my words to then get angry at me when it doesn't happen is beyond me but anyway I'm just excempting myself of accountability.

it could be they see you as so important that they take any iota of the faintest hint to any guesswork 100% literal, no matter if you extra announce it to be guesswork. it's the looming fate on anyone who looks like having done something which matches a 'qualified reply to [post xyz]' on a first glance; i seriously doubt they do more than that. there they find someone to blame something on.
personally i've practised The Art Of Moving On for quite a long time, so it doesn't bother me when it happens.
that.. sounds like a really awesome idea if i want a very quick battery recharge! minus the armour, because i would try to avoid the accursed Faraday cage effect. i hope this old umbrella will do for a lightning rod.. wow 117% battery charge within 0.02 nanoseconds, let's see if it works.

Hi, never played this game b4, (Im bored so Im going through the latest updates page with my tags sorted by rating), between Ch. 4 Remastered and CH2RS, which should I play?
Im confused because Chapter 4 sounds more recent, it being remastered leads me to believe that the non Remastered would be outdated and the Changelog lists Chapter 4 as the most recent but its Linked last in the download section.
Is there some context Im missing?

Your confusion is understandable. I'm probably mistaken, but I believe Chapter 4 is the 1st remaster. I think CH2RS is the remaster after that. We're currently in year 1+ of awaiting the 3rd remaster to release its chapter 1.
Until the next update, when the old version should disappear, things are rather confusing. What we're waiting for are chapters 3 to 5, which are a continuation of chapter 2, and not a third remaster.

Its in testing now, its just that Notty pissed off some wrathful spirit at some point so she has the worst luck and its delayed the release for about a year.

It does but be warned that she is currently remaking and improving the game and chapter 5 has started its testing phase. The chapter 4 available here and the chapter 5 the will release will be drastrically different in terms of gameplay and renders, maybe even story in some aspects, I'm unsure.
I would personaly recommend waiting on chapter 5 for anyone that hasn't played before.

Wait for CH5, if you really want to play now, then be prepared to start again when CH5 is released. Not a great hardship, but will take time.
