One month into final bug testing, the preliminary testers are sayign everything looks good. Notty hopes to release by the end of February, but says it's probably going to more like the end of March.
Ditto. There were some significant UI changes in the first few chapters between the OG chapter 1-4 releases and the re-remaster release, so I expect some significant changes in chapter four.

its nearly two weeks after any activity and not replying to anyone it's just poking the bear, we know its delayed, we've known for a while, people are upset we know that already, it doesnt take the discussion forward at all it's just not needed. it might not be "pompous" like yours or mine but it's still inflammatory.

Honestly, at this point this thread is two camps in a pissing contest while thinking that the other one's the only bad one, and the occasional news post.
And a lot of people looking for the last one and rolling our eyes at both of you in the mean time.

I will leave it to someone from that camp to come up with a shorthand for that, I can't think of one that isn't going to "poke" them.
Just because there are two sides to an argument, doesn't mean that there are two equally valid sides to an argument. And considering everyone in the forum wants the same thing, I don't understand why the second group would constantly take actions that are counterproductive to that goal.

Eh, we have camp I, let's call them Anti, which ranges from fans who're desperately waiting for the game to be released but have been severely disappointed by the seemingly endless delays and re-releases, people who yell about milking so much it makes you wonder if their dayjob involves lobbying for the dairy industry, people that disliked the game to begin with, people that dislike camp II (and generally think they're all the same), general shitstirrers, and some more.
Then you have camp II, let's call the Pro, which includes testers who do know the current state, people who defend devs on general principle, people who defend this dev because of specific reasons against specific allegations, people who dislike camp I (and generally think they're all the same), general shitstirrers, and some more.
They're not "equivalent" (especially considering they're both rather diverse - yeah yeah, Notty was clearly maliciously milking, especially during the period when the Patreon was paused. It's all a giant conspiracy! They don't even have cars there!!!11one

What did this accomplish that "Well then you'll hopefully see soon, and we'll both be playing the game" wouldn't have, except, y'know, pissing in the general direction of the other camp?
Case in point, mischaracterizing everyone in camp I as entitled children that want everything for free and immediately who will harass the dev and others!!! Those people are there, and they suck. Somebody expressing disappointed skepticism about the release actually happening soon isn't one of them.
The goal was to maybe prod some reflection on whether that conduct is in any way helpful, or failing that maybe amuse myself. I'd rate its success 3.5/10, +0.5

Dev basically had to stop development in 2024 and had a shit go of it but she's been actively communicating on her patreon and has sent the next version for testing so just hold on til you see the chapter 5 update and thats the only thing you need to download. Chapter 4 on the first page is the older version and chapter 2 remake is newer but obviously is missing 2 chapters of content. The chapter 5 update will bring chapters 3 and 4 remake with it.
