Imagine being gone for a week. You would never catch up!:D
Probably not. Escpecially not since Phil the spammer is here too. xD
But you know how it is, there are games that got updates and they have to be played. ;)

TheDevian yeah this thread here is the chamber of spam and the only one where i don't get any alerts when i have it closed. xD

I wish I could say that, if it were just one thread, I would just know to always check it, but for me, most active threads are that way now days.

Never mind PLAYING them all, I will be amazed if you have the time to write and code them all! Not Travis ...you're my hero!
Oh hun, too kind - Coding I'm getting more of a grip on, but writing? That's what I find is the easiest bit. I'm gutted that the final version of this game has so many dropped side plots. There was one in particular that was...*sighs* so good. But renders...always the renders...

Nice Parody. ;) Though you should ask for a 1080, if not 2080! ...with 11gig of ram!
*isn't greedy!*

My curiousity is killing me right now! :D
*laughs* It'll have to stay that way. Not even as super bonus extras unless I run another song contest type thingy. :)

I really only have that with this one here. Its probably the forum protecting itself from exploding by showing me 2348908340890423804 alerts.
I rather like it chatty as it keeps me going, but do we feel we need to have a discord or something instead?

a discord is harder to follow as messages get lost

I like the idea of a Discord, since the banter can still remain in the general thread, but previews and dev updates can be on a separate thread, which is a big help for people who want to get the scoop without having to clear their schedule.

Only problem I can see is that it seems to foster an echo chamber mentality, to the point where there are sometimes Discord vs F95 factions. Might not happen for this game, since it's a pretty wholesome relation so far (or as wholesome as you can get considering the circumstances), but there's something to be said about being part of a larger pervert community.

Last thing I want is one more place to keep track of the conversation. tbh, I'm not a fan of discord, at all, not in the least. Too much like the old Dalnet chat rooms and there's no persistence. Make a comment and it's lost forever in a few minutes/hours.

A discord helps in so far that this thread here would contain game relevant things only.

Messages only get lost if spammers spam like crazy spammers. ;)

Well that depends on how you want to make the discord. If its just the usual people that are here in the thread or a discord for everyone from f95 to join. If its the last one then a discord doesn't really makes sense because the amount of spam with BS will be to much to handle.

Either way its the devils erm ladies choice. ;)

Coming up with ideas is the easy part, writing is second, but coding is something I can't manage, I can barely write English. ;p But keeping all of those threads straight, without dropping any of them would be quite a challenge in and of itself.

Not a fan of discord myself, though it has its place I suppose, the various channels are handy at least, as long as people use them. But yeah, I can see the issue with people who don't agree being shut out or too afraid to post.

This thread is nuts and I've quite enjoyed watching it grow from a handful of pages into...whatever monstrosity it is now. The second the next episode hits, F95 and file hosts will likely crash under the sheer volume.

I had some doubts in the beginning because, while I like sci-fi, I tend to avoid these 3d static type of games, but this game seems like it might just pull it off regardless with oodles of well thought out plot/characters/aesthetic/sound/art/dialogue. Every character has solid potential, and the lore of the setting is oddly captivating, which is something few sci-fi works can accomplish, let alone a niche porn game.

If I had one concern, it regards the issue of choice...I have to wonder, if some episodes deep, how the weight of all the choices that came before could possibly be accounted for without having more branching paths than there are stars in the sky. I know each installment will be its own thing, but then how will narrative impact properly carry over?

But yeah, definitely liking what I'm seeing so far, especially such an actively communicative developer! I'll definitely be keeping tabs on this game!

iirc, Notty has said that by chapter 6, you would have to have 9 saves in order to see all available content.

Not sure where you got this. The chapters are not stand-alone, they are continuations of your save.

To address both at once, it's pretty basic to Ren'Py. As you progress, you "collect" points based on choices you make (e.g. chrisrespect, sarahaffect, annielust) and these points carry from chapter to chapter, save to save. As the story progresses, the checks requirements grow (e.g. if annielust>=10, if chrisrespect>=8) then different paths will be open to pursue. You could ignore Chris and focus on Sarah, which makes it easier to pass check in later chapters with Sarah and you can continue that path, whereas your checks with Chris would fail and you'd be cut off from pursuing her down the line.
