I thought that's what she might be getting at (if so, she is correct - it is kind of obvs). I don't have any of my old military stuff left over (except the DD-214) - all my paraphernalia was lost in a fire... that consumed the box it was in... along with all the clothes I wasn't wearing at the time... in the yard... set by my first ex-wife... before the divorce.

But yeah, Signal Corps - stationed in Europe. Did you know that the brass insignia (signal flags, rank insignia, backings for medals, etc) all melts into lumps in a fire like that?

Does it count if I show the cap badges from my family members that served?

I don't have any myself.

Best I have is some stuff from the Girl Guides when I was a lil gal.

Think I got my sewing badge, know I got a swimming one. I got one for cooking too, I has talents. Closest i've come to actual military service is finger banging someone from the Royal Logistics ... pretty sure she was a driver, don't quote me on it, it was 6 years ago and I was less than sober. But I served the military well that night.

Ahhh, that makes sense. I don't know the acronyms except for my brothers with is QLR.

I have been reliably informed that it stands for Quick Lets Run after some cowardly shit years ago but my brother claims it's Queens Lancashire Regiment.

I believe the first guy more.
