That is the in-game lore. That would require reading for you to know that. This is a visual novel, so that's kinda mandatory to read to understand what's going on. You can find porn games elsewhere, this one has a story.
I'd add that this particular subject has been discussed already, and H5 regulations are based on real-world military ones for this specific issue. Although I can't blame you for not going through 300 pages, I tend to agree that Chris is being extra bitchy in this scene, but I see it as she's kinda a hypocrite sometimes AND she's also protecting her friend who, she can only surmise, is being taken advantage of while being drunk. Also, Annie being drunk can lead to errors during the Vanguard's repair, so she's a bit on a edge.
That being said, I do find your aggressiveness quite unbecoming.

As far as I READ in the actual Visual Novel (not the discussion in this thread here) there's nothing supporting your claims apart from what Chris says, considering that she's ripping the MC a new one, while excusing her own actions, I don't particularly feel the need to trust her claims.
Seriously, dude, just because I don't agree with your interpretation of her behaviour, don't fucking presume I didn't read, that's just being an arrogant dick.

Starting a sentence with Lol does kind of hint at the tone of my post not being that serious, doesn't it?
Deciding that just because I don't agree with the guy means I can't or didn't read is actually way more insulting, if you think about it.
Anyway, I just played the game right fucking now and dropped one bit about Chris' behaviour, and no of course I didn't read through 300 pages thus couldn't see that this has already been discussed AND if it was being discussed that also means there was no agreement on how her behaviour has to be seen.
All in all, it's not me feeling the need to lecture others, but it's me being lectured on.
If this has already been discussed to death, no reason to start with me again, just because I don't roll over and give the moment Akamari tells me to.
If I remember all the conditions right:
- Always be casual/nice with Annie
- Ask her about the refit
- When Annie tells you about Sarah, says that you'd rather impress her
- Make a boxing wager with Chris
- Tell Annie about the wager
- Get the hug and "be happy about it"
- During the atmosphere entry, side with Chris to pilot the ship
- With Annie in underwear, say you're stressed
- Annie will tell you of a way to relieve yourself
- ???

It's not an interpretation, I'm stating facts. The military articles Chris is refering to are canon and were stated as such by the developer in this very thread long time ago. Of course, you wouldn't know that.
So yes, if you don't trust Chris, that's fine and I apologise if I've offended you. You don't have to like Chris, of course, I was just trying to provide context that you may have missed like one guy did before you today. It did not crossed my mind that someone would actually not believe the context. Telling me to fuck off also didn't help. All good, then?

Yup, I did think the "fuck off with your bullshit" part was aggressive. Actually, IRL, I use 5 insults in each sentences as punctuation and do not consider myself aggressive, but when on written form, you know the drill. That being said, I actually don't care for drama and don't really give a shit about whether or not we're being aggressive to each other on a forum for porn games, what I care for here is discussing about the game, and I do find your point relevant. Is Chris being a cockblocking hypocrite?
In summary, yes and no. Chris is being hypocritical considering her past behaviour, but on the other hand, she's not wrong to chew the MC out because the issue at hand (i.e. Annie being in charge of the repair and going drinking and fucking around) is problematic. MC and Annie fooling around may very well result in repairs being slowed down or not done at all, and it becomes a hazardous situation that put their lives at risk.
As a player, I'm mainly mad as her completely cockblocking me (that bitch), but it's a way of escalating things for the upcoming chapters. If I'm being completely honest with you, I would have preferred that she came into the room *after* we did the deed with Annie

No prob, I couldn't remember if you had to have Sarah come and have a wardrobe malfunction or not ^^ I guess it's not necessary then. Which is fine if you consider you may want to go the blackmail route with her and still shag the skipper.

I did tell her about the wardrobe malfunction, because Annie seemed to like that. No idea if it was necessary though, as I did that the first time as well.

I don't know if it's necessary as well, but females in the game are especially opinionated. Have you tried being a dick and telling Chris her crew is lame? She practically bites your head off. Annie is also very defensive of Sarah, and Sarah is the closest we have from the airhead type we can find in other games. Of course, in the second chapter, Doctor Jones reminds us that we're in a porn game...

There are number of little things you need to do in general behaviour towards her. Not all of them though, so there is a lot of leeway in this. The key element is the talk with Chris, teasing her back and accepting the wager. Then there is the hug scene you need to go through to the end.
It's good to point out that Annie's endorphin hit is not essential to progress with her. In my Annie playthrough I went with her plan for the approach and thus missed it. There are often multiple pathways in different routes.
