The problem with the cheat mod is it barely bypasses any grind. You can shorten it somewhat by increasing rep but you still need to go through day after day after day waiting for shit to trigger.
You could do what I do sometimes with grindfests, extract the files and look at the pretty pictures that way; it's not the same, because, y'know, no context.

For some reason that dev loves grind, even his first game Tangled Up was pure grind, I am talking before he changed some stuff it was mid 150+ days of doing the same 10 to 12 actions a day. He started on part 2 which probably would have been grind then moved onto foot of the mountain and just made that grind.
