Okay so how does one progress to a new chapter? After I do the first three missions and buy the Devil Axe it doesn’t allow me to progress anymore. What do I do to go to the next chapter with the Innkeeper?
Also sorry if this was answered before, I’m on mobile and the search function UI is a bit shit on a phone.

Generally, we say do all side missions first, but the main quests will lead you to the next chapter. Read the text, see where your supposed to go to succeed in the main mission, and you should be brought to the Inn for the Chapter two turnover.

Wait what is the "main mission" I did all three missions in chapter 1 already, and the mission to get Charlotte's shoes is supposedly impossible at low levels.

But did you stop at all the houses and recruit the obvious not!NPC characters? You're looking for Sally Forth, Terror Gorge, and Taxes or Death. I know you can recruit an Ax wielder and an Archer in the back 2, and Sally Forth is a grind quest to get levels up. Beat them all, get the recruits, and you should be in place to get another actual mission. If it doesn't work, you may be bugged, try to restart with a fresh download.

Also, personal tip - Movement speed is king in this game. Ground coverage is an ignored but broken stat. It's stupid, but the bunny ears item giving +2 movement is huge (Also unlocks some interactions as you play playboy bunny bartender to some bosses, but whatev)

Not really? Assuming they didn't add a hard mode or something, it's possible to max out one set of fighters (An Axe, Spear, Sword, and Bow) and just roll faces with them.

If you max to lv 20, evolve your dude, then remax? you can max out some if not most stats by then.

Keep the Naughty Hold Items off your main dude. If you have, say, Charlette's shoes and enter combat with her, she one shots you instantly with a special interaction. good for porn, bad for survival.

Lastly, keep a 'pure, good boy' save around before doing obvious porn. Some of the interactions with bosses and the bar can lower stats or levels.

Terror Gorge early on, enemies w/ no counter attack. Then Sally Forth (I think that's the infinite army rushing the town in the center you defend, good to get high up for beating a bunch of people.)

Later -as long as you've done the Black market Serpent's Gaze mission, the followup Serpent's Lair also generates infinite dudes, so you can farm there real easy.

Lastly - cash maters most at the last run up, assuming a solid core of 4 to 10 characters and the rest either also maxed or used as meat shields/tribute fodder. There is a final mission to beat the boss Alexandria - it gives a sellable treasure and can be quick with a good party. Farm her for cash.

I recruited all of the guys, yes. The spearman, axeman, and archer you can get are all in my party. After I beat them all I went back to the black market woman and got the sword, but now she wants me to come back later and now I'm stuck. Is not getting a new quest a known bug? I really don't want to restart completely so any solution would be cool.

Wait, the bunny bar quest lowers your stats? is this after a certain about of times doing the quest, or does serving specific girls lower specific stats, this seems like something the game should tell us.

Come back later should mean do or redo another quest. Once done, redo the Serpent's Gaze and see a group of people also scammed and the shop keeper has run off with your cash. You will get revenge and your money back later.

As you keep doing the Bunny Bar quest, she will offer more money to do it in a chastity device, then holds the key ransom, then offers sex acts instead of your pay. Somewhere in there, you lose stats for submitting. If you interact whereing some other gimp wear, you will lose stats or levels depending. I think some other special grabs can do so as well, but unsure.

You could try grinding until you can beat the Charlette quest, Buy up many potions and set two choke points on the stairs with PC/archer and Spear dude. Use potions as needed, ferry them from the storage your PC has to the other choke and you beat the elite guards. Sacrifice doesn't make permadeath, so spear is you main damage, arrow for chip damage, ax is mostly to Kneel and deactivate her grab state. Don't surround, she can double grab. It's best to "fight honorable" like a chump and send in dudes one at a time.

As for progressing to the next missions, I don't know at this point. You beat all the bosses in each stage, not just retreated in Sally Forth or timed out the retreating green dudes in Terror Gorge. The ruin in the forest of Terror Gorge just gives an item, it shouldn't hold you up....I don't know dude, maybe save your file, transfer the save somewhere. Re-download, and see if that does it? Or maybe the Serpent's gaze is holding you up because it only completes in Act 1 so it needs to finish. Redo a mission and try Serpent again, maybe that does it.

I was really hoping that the mission with the merchant would be the thing to advance the story, but from the way you describe it seems like a side plot, which is fine, I guess.

Thanks for the advice! Originally I was going to finish all of the chapters until the last one and then go back and do Charlotte's quest, but that seems like a valid strategy.

I mean I might of done something wrong with the level with Daisy? The win condition was just to defeat her and then have all of the green dudes survive, so maybe one of them died and I didn't notice? Your advice is worth a shot, though.

Sorry for double post, but there seems to be a bug that softlocks the game when in a h-scene. It gets particuarly bad when kneeling, is there a button that forces the text to start again or do I have to reload everytime that happens?
