The game is 10 times better if you actually ignore the narrator. We don't need someone to tell us the protagonist has sit down, we can already see it!

MC is taking his 3rd shower this day: "Let's take another shower." MC gets into the shower: "Ahh, this shower feels nice." MC gets out of the shower: "I really needed that shower."
This is amazing writing that really drives the plot forward.
