Weird random finding (that I cannot fathom storywise thus far): Music Club quest chain requires hiring Swan/Hooter. I did not, and it refuses to even START: the president never complains about the awful skill of other members; and Ameli never leaves the Music Club, which means the M.A.I.D. Club quest is on hold as well...and I have no idea yet how reliant the Theater Club is on Ameli, but at this point I expect it to be stuck as well until Ameli joins and leaves it (which she cannot as she is stuck in the Music Club). Effectively, 3 clubs would be gated by one NPC for obscure reasons.

The part I find weird is that I cannot recall the PA/secretary having any interactions with the clubs (like, for example, in the Jenny Copper quest they relay to you that you have been summoned by the detective, or in the Parker quest they do the secretarial job of scheduling a trip). The only one I recall being important would be Stacy.

At this rate, I might just hop over to the HHS forum just to nag the people there with my "why?"s.

P.s. Guess that answers my own question of whether hiring a PA is necessary for maximizing profits.

Man, this game is So Good but it breaks very easily and even though it has a massive following, there is barely any guides/walkthroughs/"documentation" (I don't mean about the "insides" of the game). When other people have asked the same thing I want to know too, the best answer I found was "a tip and a ". Like, bruh, get down from your high horse just tell me how to do this thing.

For example I can not for the love of me lockpick Anything. It always says "Feeling rather excited, you reacg into your pocket and pull out a lock pick. Then, as you look at the lock, you realise you don't have the foggiest idea where to start..!?" And yes I went to the restaurant, got the newspaper, read that article, caught the thief, asked him to teach me and have been taking lessons from him. The first lesson gave me the lockpicking minigame and that was the last time I saw it.

I looked up Underwood's questline and you're supposed to visit her house but I don't have the foggiest idea how to do that.

I read that maybe my installation was corrupted because I installed the bugfix ?? I'll just drop the game until the next update. And please make the downloads more clear, like, what's the difference between DOWNLOAD and v1.9.5 SP7 ? And like I said earlier I read about the bugfix and it is apparently included in the download so why is there a separate download link too ? I thought I had to download that too and apply it.

Like, I get the feeling that there are a lot of people that are passionate about this project, but something's off.

Oh I forgot about something: What hell does the MinigameConfig change ??? I ccan't find ANY information Anywhere ! Obviously DefaultMinigameConfig.xml means it will be, well, the default experience as it was meant to be. And SkipMinigameConfig.xml is probably for skipping the mingames (I assume you auto-win them) but what about VariantMinigameConfig.xml ?? Does it make the minigames easier ? Since I know the game breaks EASILY I would assume Variant would be better than Skip since it may skip other triggers or whatever.

You won't auto win in SkipMinigameConfig.xml setting. It becomes restricted to RNG, event complexity and MC skill level. You can open those xml files in notepad and see their differences. If I remember correctly, VariantMinigameConfig changes timing and thresholds.

Not every person can do those mini games and putting time bound quest/event in game promotes git good mentality in dev who can set quest limits based on personal preferences and not based on capabilities of other players. I prefer playing and enjoying games at the pace that I want and not at the pace set by Twitchy after coffee overdose.

You just need to practice on other locks around town to get better at it but once you learn how you just need to keep trying on the lock you want to pick. I never train at it just got the first mini game from the thief and away I went to the quest locks and had no problems.

v1.9.5 SP7 is the full game with bug fixes already installed, the other links are for players who already had the game but not the bug fixes.

I can train with him once every 3 days. I train once and then it says we shouldn't be seen together again because it'd be too suspicious or smt. Costs 200$ and increases my skill by 5 or so. No minigame.

With Underwood... I can't do anything at with her. Pretty sure I got her number and address but can't do anything with the phone or computer or in person and the journal thingy says "Now suspect a closer look into her home life might be warranted....?" but again I can't progress that. Oh and I've seen that link. It says "you can ask the detective to investigate her, and he will direct you to her home " I did ask the detective and pretty sure I never even went to her home or I just skipped it but I still have no option to do anything close to what the wiki suggests. I've also read a lot of times that you can improve your hacking from your computer ?? I never had that option, only photoshop. Oh and it lets me do the "photoshop assignment" from home (as opposed to going to the computer room of the school) but it doesn't register it as "done" and I still have to go to the computer room.

Now THAT is the kind of clarity I was looking for ! If only it was mentioned clearly in OP...

To me this is a major upgrade for the game.

YES ! That is REALLY Cool !

The only thing I would add to this is some kind of indication for Favorites, like an outline or smt.
Now my mind runs through the possibilities and maybe there could be a mod that gives outlines to everyone from Red to Green and changes based on your friendship with them. And maybe a setting to change it to from Black to Blue to easily view their Loyalty too.

Is there a way to avoid the random event in the park where a girl masturbates? It cost me a whopping 3 Rep. It feels like the only "solutions" are not lowering the stats (punished heavily for porn in a porn game ; also, kind of late since it can already fire) or not going to the park ever again (because +Rep events are rare and reward far less than the "punishment").

P.s. I am not even sure what enables it: Corruption? Lust? Inhibition? On Town? On Students? Global? Individual for every NPC? And so on.

Yeah, the directions didn't work, unless I'm not understanding what "game" means, cuz I drop it in the main folder, and extract it, but all it does is make a separate do nothing folder, it doesn't integrate with the game, and now I couldn't even get the Lexi Mod to go, and yes I got the 1.95 version...I'm deleting everything and starting over, lol, see if that helps, but I'm just not gonna try the pregnancy thing. Loli's are more important anyway!

All you have to do is unpack the rar and copy the "Schools" folder into the hhs 1.9.5 folder (which has a "Schools" folder) and allow it to over-write all it needs to and you are done, just start a new game and away you go.
As you can see the rar file has a "Schools" file just as the main folder for hhs 1.9.5 has. .

Just thought I'd let you know...got fresh copies of everything and dropped the preggers mod into the HHS folder and WALLA, lol, it wrote over 9 files this time, so even though I haven't started the game yet, I know it worked. Thanks for your help.

The paper doll images do its the H scenes that mostly don't and use scenes taken from other games.

There are a lot that do match but with using H scenes from other games to match the sex scenes is very hard to get every combo there is out there.

Very simple just hover over things and it tells you what its for.
On the computer you manage the school then these little arrows lets you make more classes , as you can see by hovering over the area it tells you whats it is for.
