Just started and bugged on only second day. Told to take shower after broom ride. Do it but quest does not move on. Stuck. Any ideas?

Make sure you used the correct shower, there are a couple that show as interactive, but only one of them will continue the quest.
Found a glitch.
If you enter the quidditch changing rooms, when you exit it puts you below the circle. The game will not allow you to walk across the circle and there happens to be a single space between the change rooms and the trees that it places you in leaving you trapped and only able to enter and leave the changing room with no option to go anywhere else.
I did not save the game recently and with most games this would not be a problem as you can skip past things you've already seen on a replaythough, but this game does not have a skip option. I am not willing to start over again and be forced to play through everything at a snail's pace.
If there is no easy solution to this i think i will just abandon this game until this gets fixed on a future update or it gets updated enough times to justify starting over from the beginning.
EDIT: I remembered that i have a teleport crystal and was able to rescue myself from this flaw in the game.
EDIT: It glitched out again, but this time it faded to black after leaving the rectors cabinet and agreeing to oral with harry, then it never came back again. Game just completely locked up and refused to progress. You absolutely need to program in a skip feature for absolutely every single timed event in the game. It is a vital playability feature. It is more important than absolutely anything else you could possible add, i would even go so far as to say it would be more important than doubling the amount of porn in the game. It is just that necessary for playability.
EDIT: I have restarted from a previous save 4 times and it has locked up at the same spot each time. I think this is it for me until the game gets fixed. The game is unplayable, which is just a shame because the content appears to be great, it's just the programming that is so utterly terrible.

Developers are asked to report bugs in the game on their website. I passed the scene with the GP at the office and it did not cause me any difficulties...
Everything is OK in this scene. Upload your save file. I'll take a look with him.
I just tested it again and it glitched again. Here is the file. It is saved outside the office, just enter the office and initiate the scene. It will freeze up after you come back out and talk to harry.
and the development of star channel is soooooooooo long that it has entered the "patreon milked" statut already.....abandonned for me.... his passion of making this game at least.
Could i get a bit more clarity on what you mean by Yours is really wrong.
I was only playing for about an hour and a half, what mistakes could i have made?
