Well, from a post from the dev on twitter, the difficulty will be increased, which, personally I think is good, what do you guys think...? [...]
That is not at all the impression I got from that tweet. It says nothing about increasing the difficulty. It seemed more like reflecting on the complexity of the encounters themselves, meaning, for each enemy dev tries to use different mechanics & triggers to have some variety and make encounters feel unique. I would imagine that's not an easy task and can also potentially introduce more bugs to the game.
As for difficulty as such, HC2 still feels a little more hardcore than it should be (or perhaps I selected the wrong difficulty when it was introduced). Even with the new areas and enemies HC2 still feels rather "bare bones" because of the missing random events and the non-existent Castle event. Basically there's nothing for the player to work towards. At the moment, once you've beaten all the enemies and collected all achievements repeating encounters becomes pointless.
it'll be a dream if Diogaoo makes the HC1 on RenPy. its so boring start from zero over and over again when a update comes out...
I like HC1, but I don't think it will be ported to HC2 in its entirety - it's more likely that some mechanics will be used from it. I get the feeling that dev will finish HC1 soon and focus only on HC2, which I see as a good thing, cause it means more new content there.

Your response sounds more in relation to his tweet, my bad, I took complexity = more difficulty which would mean we would get more mechanics around to get the game more interesting around the enemies (which would give it a more live feel towards being a game that you don't just approach to wank a quick one), towards which, I am not opposed to in any case, and I like it, more creativity while it might be hard to pull off for a single dev, might be surprising and change how the game goes (at first HC 1 was just button smash the attack button, with the addition of Stamina, many people complained but still played it, and it gave it a more game fighting/surviving sense to it)...

Can anyone tell me if these enemies have a game over? Serena Helen luci iris serena raven and and what are there in the city besides the club, 2 in the church and 1 with the girl in the trap, the same with a runner, a witch (who forces her to drink elixir), a dark witch (who gives money for a fetish), and a fairy. And just as interested in the fortress is it possible to defeat 10 enemies, and if so, how?

I'll reply to what I know towards HC 1 since I assume that game is the one you're coming from...

"And just as interested in the fortress is it possible to defeat 10 enemies, and if so, how?"

You will need to have an extremely strong MC, and at least 2 green and orange potions, very low or almost no fetish points, and 2 or less corruption points in your character, I recommend to have also the hammer equipped, this is something that while not mandatory, it will make passing through much easier, the only fetish you can get away with, is if you have high shemale since there are no shemales in the castle that I remember...

Serena, helen and luci if I'm not mistaken are all from HC 1 and all have either a bad ending or a small scene if you lose to them (kinda like what happens when you lose to Candy, you appear back in your camp), don't force yourself to try to get an extra scene, because there's only 1 game over scene per character, raven can't remember her...

Besides of the event of the club, you have the mouth or anal (or pass if your lust and fetishes are low) events, about the runner girl, I assume you mean the girl that challenges you to a sprint, it doesn't have a bad ending or something, it's just something to get a buff or increase your lust over the day (which will have consequences in case you lose a fight).

The dark witch also does not have a bad ending or scene, she's there to give you money in exchange for some of your exp...

TL;DR: Helen, Luci and Serena, no they are just lose and keep going characters (but your run will be screwed since you will have corruption points), dark witch and the rest are just events that you can gain something from...

Extra tip: You can get an idea of which enemies you will confront in the castle since it's a boss rush, some enemies are exclusive to the castle, while the bosses that you fought before to get the pieces of the map to access to it, will be there...

agreed, although our progression may be quite the factor in it. i'd think most of us have more advanced save files for HC1 than for HC2. the issues with compatability of those save files is a big reason for this, the lack of replayability is another, but it also feels like the progress in HC2 is more limited in general. i mean, my HC1 file is past 25 starting attack, something i'm not sure you can even achieve in HC2 if you unlock every single point. the 3 weakness vs 1 trait selection also feels more like a handicap than a tradeoff.
do we know how much more content will be added to HC1? i'm kinda torn on this tbh. on one hand i prefer it by far over HC2 right now and want it to get better still, but on the other hand has HC2 the potential to become an even better experience eventually.

The "offline" version is indeed the most recent one, mainly because the dev doesn't really try to make his game in HTML like Indyc or pass it to Ren'py (probably due to how heavy size wise it is and how long it'd take him to re apply some mechanics from HC1 on another engine to make it work similar)...

And yes, lately Milovana's been working worse than before...

Are you sure? Last I checked the offline version of HC 1 was incredibly outdated and was really buggy. That port wasn't even made by the creator and I heard they were not fond of it being on F95zone at all.

They definitely created and continued to develop HC 1 in EOS, the same engine I used for Trials.

They used Renpy to make HC2 and that is the offline version that is kept up to date.

i just wish i could play HC1 still, but thats how online only games work. eventually they will be just wiped and gone. and the v0.95 thats in the first post, i cant even get it to launch, so all thats left is a tiny content HC2 currently until it catches up to HC1.
sadge

its not that its been working worse, its straight up offline, gone, not workign atall. i would sit through long loading times, but thats not the case currently anymore

I may have the tools to bring HC1 to an offline version.

However, is really complicated so I need help. The two things I would need to get started is the tease ID (which can be taken from the last version's link) and the json. (they haven't responded on discord but perhaps someone could reach out to them on their patreon)

No promises but if I can get those 2 things and someone technical to walk me through some steps I think I can make it happen.
