They don't actually care about it being "scam" that's just a front. They just hate that it takes long or don't get what they want so they lash out. Almost like when you beat someone in a game and they call you "dogshit", if you beat them then clearly you aren't, but in that moment that person is just raging. People in this forum are the same, they don't care they just rage.

ive played the entire game, read every word, and taken the time to actually enjoy the game. so here are some reasons I believe this game is a scam as well as why the game itself is just ok to bordering good, at least for a VN
-first off the update times. in the same time this game gets a single update, ive seen indie studios with less money make games with vastly more content. if its better or not is subjective.
-secondly the uses of other tools to create the game. lets get this out of the way, I would never call a good asset flip a scam(dark and darker for example) but when your entire game is using various tools that pull from premade assets and all you have to show after 2 years since the last major update is a few half baked holiday "events" and continue to say "next major update is coming soon" than yeah im starting to find it hard that this game isnt taking as long as possible to rake in money.
-Thirdly the lack of transparency. I do in fact support good games, im not just here to pirate everything. If a game/VN is more than just a sex scene viewer then I will back it. But for this VN where updates take years, than I think the supporters deserve at minimum weekly screenshots of the devs work. Indie devs do this all the time, why do we get 1-3 screenshots every 2-3 months followed by some lousy excuse like "ive been tired recently" as to why a single character model has taken 2 weeks when its using an engine full of premade assets which they pull from. After the models in this game quality? sure if youre into the anime type designs.
-lastly the hyper defensiveness of the dev himself. I get it, your work gets shit on and you dont know why at times and you feel people are unfair. But the lengths ive seen this lead dev go to defend their work is insane, its like 2 people on reddit fighting over whos more powerful in an anime. its unproductive, comes off as snarky at times, and overall just a bad look for the game. Its better to ignore the bait comments and only address the ones that show real concern, but this dev just does not and its very fishy.
