Well I stuck it out for a year and change to see if we'd get an update. I feel pretty solid in getting some space back on hard drive from this one at this stage. Sucks as the game could have been very cool

Wellness Tips for Life

The 7 Biggest Lies:

  1. I 'm in control
  2. It's not what it seems
  3. I can change
  4. I'll quit whenever I want
  5. It's not for you, it's for me
  6. One more (fap, game, page) and I'm back to studying.
  7. I'm working on it

    You are welcome
"4. I'll quit whenever I want"

This one can actually come true and it wouldn't surprise me not one bit especially if the money train derails.

This had not been abandoned dev has a discord server where they talk about the game actively
The abandoned tag gets put on when a developer doesn't update for several months.

This dev hasn't done anything meaningful in 2 years and keeps promising updates. Hes fallen into the same trap many developers do where they have no incentive to actually "finish" a game as they just collect patreon cash while putting out micro patches. Or suddenly deciding to "redo all the code/story from scratch for reasons"

When/if there is ever an actual update play it and ask yourself if its two years culmination of work or something put together in the last month or so. That would be the measure I'd use. I've seen too many devs do this to ever warrant giving them money. I'd rather pay for something thats finished than donating in the hopes that the dev actually puts meaningful work into the project.

Nov 2020 - prologue content was "finished". The last release of story content
April 2023 - christmas side content released.
I forgot that the christmas event came out four months after christmas. He must've worked on it before christmas as well. It has to be at least half a year of side tracking.
And then he commented on here how "everyone loved it". Which of course made people even more pissed.

Nov 2022 - "I've stopped the development of Chapter 1 a month and a half ago, exactly at Halloween. I will resume the development of Chapter 1 on January 1st. "

Also despite initially releasing in April it took almost a full month to fix bugs, performance issues, and get ported to MacOS and Android. The final patch version of the Christmas content came out in May. Which means 7 full months of dev time for the seasonal content.

Good job on the update of Chapter 1. I can’t believe that you managed to deliver 30 hours worth of such high quality content! I feel embarassed for the doubts I had, but you really came through and it certainly was worth the many years of waiting.
Least obvious fake. We know it's you Komi, you sly dog

Only two of them continue to defend tooth and nail the lack of work of this creator. Anyway... Komi's patreon never went on pause, something that other creators do when they delay and know that they won't deliver some work. The trello has been stuck at 20% since... I can't even believe it since the first time I went to see it, which was like 3 months ago and it's still in the same place... and here two of them continue to defend this. Anyway. I hope that someday in this decade they deliver something. Greetings.
