The dev has bouts of laziness and/or lack of ideas (so it seems)?
The game is marked Abandoned (by F95 not Komisari himself), and has had updates in the past - that reversed that tag.
I personally feel that it will be updated again - at some point?
His social net feeds, go dormant at times, then re-light up (as it has done recently).
Nothing is certain, but is this game "Dead" - possibly not?
Just in a state of suspended animation. lol

I was actually curious why he abandoned it coz I once played his game and it looks so great in terms of coding and UI and even in animation.

Its just milking lets be honest because if they had any worth wild credibility they would have suspended payments from subs to he was out of this so called "lack of ideas" or motivation stage. They make themselves look super shady thinking they are allowed to collect as much as they do without actually putting anything out

Did he do that before or after ghosting his patreon where his paying supporters are? Last post was december 2023.
So I played this game a few yearsa go. I dont knoe. 3 or 4 years ?
I really liked it alot.. the mute girl was my favourit. I just thought mute girls are really interesting and their just super rare to see. Noone really does them
So I signed on to patreoen to support it. The game looks really interesting where it was going.. and me want some mute girl, who would just rip arrows out of her arm like a boss without even flinching. Had some theories of what she could of been too.
Then a few months later. My paypay just refused to take payment for it.. Yet it would take payment for other projects I had on patroen. Could never figure out why. Even re-adding paypal and stuff. So I just left it in suspend mode.
A year went past, while he said he was working on it. That he wants to do a big update.. a 2nd year went by and still nothing. It was at that point, I just unlisted his patreon from my suspend mode.
I dont know what happened, but I can just guess he was keeping his patreon running but not actually working on the game.. The fact Paypal stopped taking payments for this account was such a life save, as well they might of known something was up.
So much potential in the game, But its what ? 3years ? almost 4 and nothing ? I really lost track of the years tbh

Here's a crazy idea, what if we measured progress in terms of quality updates released, instead of a bunch of promises from a dev who has basically not produced shit in terms of tangible meaningful updates to the game in YEARS.

I mean if we did that there'd be a LOT of games on this site that would catch shit despite not deserving it.
It's been months since the last Horny Nature update for example and that game's great even in it's super alpha phase.

Either way, I still consider the existing content for HHG to be S-Tier but being permanently unfinished is a huge mark against any project. I held out hope as long as I could but I stopped believing that it wouldn't be permanent over a year ago.
No I dont think it was payment on hold, I had another project that would do that. The Dev would consider he didnt get time to work on the game for a month, so he would suspend payment. Patreon would then tell me that too in an email. The issue with Heros guild, even patreon would ask me if I wanted to retry payment or use another method.
In the end, its been 3 or 4 years and theres not been an update. It ended up being for the best.
