@ Bright Sun Studios - thanks for this. Not a bad game at all imho but nothing compared to "Their Beautiful World - Divinity" which I absolutely love and rate the best game ever in which the spend time: the world you've created is just gorgeous. Despite having achieved Ascension I find myself returning to explore alternative paths just for the joy of them. I know I have no right (yet) to join in the poll but if TBW-D didn't win hands down your current Patreons need to upgrade their guide dogs. If you do concentrate on TBW-D I hope to join the patrons as soon as my curent commitments expire. Should writer's block strike I'd be happy (as a classical scholar) to contribute by kicking around ideas, suggestions and any proofreading assistance you may ever require.

Here's my crunched version.

Lossy compression (means image/audio/video quality is reduced to make shit smaller) is used. You've been warned so no bitching.

Wow, high praise. Thanks you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed the game.

But was this the poll you were talking about?:
Because in that case you have every right to voice your opinion there and there is no reason not to do it. The Sunday community polls are open to everyone. TBW - Divinity got beaten out in popularity there by both Blooming Love (my first game) and High School Crush Simulator though, but I partly expect that is because of the the fact that Divinity is a new game and the other two aren't (also HSCS has a wider appeal than Divinity).

I don't let my patrons vote on which game I work on though, so don't worry. Right now I'm planning on switching between updates for HSCS and Divinity. Hopefully the support for Divinity will grow when more updates are released.
I personally also think Divinity is the better game (although I obviously enjoy working on all my games), but it is also the one that currently seems to have the lowest "development time - financial gain" balance. That wouldn't matter all that much to me when I actually reach the Patron support level where I actually start making at least mimimum wage. At the moment Divinity is a bit of a risk for me though because of the (hopefully obvious) amount of work that needs to be put into it. That doesn't mean I'll drop Divinity though.

And when it comes to the world of the game being 'gorgeous', I don't know how much credit I can take for that. If you meant visually gorgeous, the credit goes to Ubisoft as the backgrounds (for the most part) are screenshots from AC: Origins (which is a beautiful game). If were speaking about the lore, then I'd happily take the compliment.

As for ideas/proofreading, I'd always welcome that. You can send me a PM here or I can even invite you to my bug testing Discord channel if you want. There I usually discuss ideas and development of updates before they are released. Keep in mind though that despite having access to updates much sooner than the public release, they are more buggy and such.

Ah, this seems to be a bug caused by me renaming something. Sorry about that. Luckily it only crashes the game when the story is already finished, so it isn't a disaster. Still, I fixed it and will include the fix the next update (possibly 0.4.1 if enough bugs are discovered). Thanks for point this out to me.

I think you might be confusing comments about Their Beatiful World - Divinity with this game. Because for HSCS I never planned and most likely will never plan to add a male protagonist. If I had, it would obviously be here by now (like in TBW - Divinity which has a male protagonist in version 0.1). Sorry if that disappoints you

Buff... All that serious and politically correct conversations about homosexuality in a porn game...

When something includes a positive view of homosexuality in a non-preachy, non-forceful way and you immediately find that a 'politically correctness' issue, you are the problem. If you dislike even the mention of the word lesbian/gay/homosexual in any way unless it's expressed in a negative way, why even download a game that features the tags this game includes?

This game doesn't try to preach or teach the player anything. It simply features lesbian and bisexual characters that aren't ashamed of themselves and don't view their sexuality as a bad thing. If that is already too much for you, just move on to the next game and let other people enjoy the game if they're interested.

If you dislike a game/story/book/movie only because it features lesbians, that's your choice. You have a right to your own opinion on these things. But it's honestly a bit sad that you think each time homosexuality is mentioned someone with an SJW agenda is behind it. It couldn't possibly be because people like lesbian porn. It couldn't possibly be for the reason that lesbian games feature two characters instead of one that people (who are attracted to woman) can look it and find appealing. No, the only reason to ever include a homosexual character is because you want to force/teach people to be politcally correct.

If you had actual good critisism to provide (even if I don't always agree with the critisism), that would be fine with me. I welcome that. But this isn't critisism. This is childish complaining that the game wasn't 100% made specifically for you.

I like hot dogs, but it doesn't means that I would like to visit a slaughterhouse and to listen the problems of the butchers union. I like lesbianism in a game because is kinky, not because I want to be lectured about the cliches of political correctness about the topic. Is so strange that I expect kinky in a porn game, and no SJW BS?

I'm kind of curious... Do you know that you are doing a porn game? A game mostly to fap with? Do you think that those long conversations about homosexuality, not in a kinky mode, are a turn on for someone? Or just something that people skip in order of getting the kinky part? Or all those banal conversations about whatsoever (favorite color of the girl, the problems of being blind or dyslexic, how much she likes birds or the problems with her mom), do you think are a turn of for someone? Or even interesting?

Probably you think that you are writing interesting and realistic dialogues to create bonding between players and the characters. I´m sorry, but it's not. You are writing boring and banal dialogues. I hate those games where everything is an excuse to show tits or people having sex, that's not what I'm looking for in a game. But I hate even more boring and pretentious games. If this means that "I am the problem", it's OK. I am the problem.

That just shows you're not the type of player this game is being made for. No, obviously I don't think 'long conversations about homosexuality' is a turn on. But those aren't even in the game. It gets occasionally mentions, but the game doesn't rant about how awesome lesbianism is and how everyone should accept and love them like you seem to think with your claims of the game including 'SJW bullshit'. I dislike extreme SJW behavior just as much as most people, but I will repeat that you thinking this game is SJW propaganda says more about your attitute towards any form of homosexuality being potrayed in media than anything else. I'm not trying to change anyone's mind with it. I'm not pushing an opinion or agenda. And if you're honest about thinking this is SJW bullshit, there isn't anything I can do to change your mind. There is no point in arguing with someone who thinks that discussing homosexuality in textual form is pushing an SJW agenda. Because in that case it just seems like it's not actual extreme SJWs that are protesting in the streets and what not that you dislike, but anyone who isn't on the far right (although I should mention that what we call the 'far right' in my country still generally isn't anti-gay or anything, unlike in America for example)

But what blew my mind (and not in a good way) about your comment the most is that you seem to think every single adult game should focus on turning you on/getting you off 100% of the time. Almost no game does that and those who do get boring fast. Most adult games aren't meant to be porn videos with text instead of audio. Story and character development is very much part of why a lot of people like this form of porn. Yes, there are a few games that are almost purely porn (most trainer and rape games and such). But that's not what all adult games are or should be like. Plenty of people like that a VN like this isn't all porn. So yes, it's a romantic story that includes sexual behavior as a natural part of the relationships in the game. It's not a story all about sex, sex, sex. But I don't view that as a bad thing, and I think most people agree with me on that.

I can understand it that you maybe don't like the amount of text there is this game and the amount of things you can do that aren't sexual. That's fine. This isn't your type of game, I get that. But I hope you than also understand that I'm not going to take your comments or suggestions seriously. It's like complaining about an RPG game because it doesn't featur car racing. Both car racing games and RPG games are liked by a lot of people, but that doesn't mean each game has to feature both things. Each game has a target group they are going for and developers accept not every single person will like what they're going for. I suggest you look for a game that suits your tastes more than this one does as there are plenty to be found on this website

I have said what I have said, and if I have been abrasive, you have asked for it. I'm not interested in your misinterpretations about my words or what you think about me, and I'm not interested in continuing this argument.

It's OK. The problem is me. My attitude towards homosexuallity, that I don't like to read in games (or to read in general, why not? I'm almost illiterate), that I only want to see sex and don't like romantic stories. Probably, I'm not progressive enough (politically I'm at the right wing of Genghis Khan, you know?) or have the sensibility and openness of mind to appreciate the beauty of your more-than-porn game. In no case the problem is that your texts and scenes are boring, meaningless, pretentious and banal. If you choose to believe that, is totally right. Whatever makes you and your thousands of patrons happy.

No new content at all for Ava?
A quick look at the change log will show you what's been added. Charlotte was chosen as the focus of this update, so it's she who has received new content in this update (along with some solo content for the main character)

If or when you add content that now requires a patch to be accessible (don't let those Patreon spies know what we talkin' bout here) will it be in some shape or form in a changelog or maybe a thread announcement?

Having it linked in the OP is already risky as I (the developer of the game) are clearly in charge of the OP. But the patch you are talking about is (hopefully) clearly version specific, so I hope people realize that it sometimes needs to be updated when a new version of the game is released. As for the specific thread... I haven't really been there to check it, but I think that's basically dead now that their patch has moved to LewdPatcher
