Side Note: RenPly is so much better. You just have to go into Games folder and copy the old saves file into the new game.

IMPORT OLD SAVES IN NEW RELEASE
Option A: Extract new release in the same directory of the previous. It should be automatic...

Option B: open previous release directory. Copy all .sav files and paste them into new release directory, in the same position. In certain cases this prevent the game to run... If you're in that case try to launch the game before pasting .sav files, and doing it while the game is already running!
