What, if anything, do you know about PTSD?
Charlotte has had more than enough encounters with male predators to make her "over done" as you put it.
She's written very well and is frankly recovering too quickly, but for an AVN with her as the prime target of lust for most, I realize that poetic license with her psych issues must be taken.
You're correct, I don't suffer from PTSD, but I directly see it and experience it first hand from two of my friends, one of which was a sexual assault, similar to the story character, when we're were in school long ago. There are still certain subjects that aren't brought up around her.

I'm not saying that everyone reacts the same way, I'm saying that in service of the story, that she's treading the same waters with repeating the same comments, all while contradicting her self by pointing out her own actions in thought.

Edit: I'm not trying to argue the difficulties that PTSD victims suffer, or to diminish anything that sexual assault victims have to endure. My only point is that in the story, the character seems to be in a holding pattern that extends the story to the point where the last update is a lot of repetition of previous events and discussion.

I like this Vn so far, but there's a few *minor* things that seem a bit more dramatized, granted they're not deal breakers, and I understand where the writer is coming from in regards to setting up the situation and characters etc. Keep in mind this is more nit-picking from my standpoint as a player.

Charlotte, as a character is a bit...overdone. I don't know how to properly describe it without sounding overly harsh. Given the horrible incident that the character endured, and reoccurring incidents with her attacker I can see how she gets stand-off'ish. But she seems *overly* hesitant to accept a man near her or in her house. Even she questions her own actions during the story.

And Emma, as sweet as a character as she is, is the cliché of the "virginesque" naïve girl. I know she's sheltered, but she DOES go to a school where she'd be at least somewhat exposed to things like sex etc. She almost acts/thinks like a 10 year old, which again I feel the writer is doing to accentuate her purity, but it seems excessive.

Again, I know it's somewhat nit-picking on the character traits, but with how well this one is written I was hoping that some cliche's wouldn't pop up (Overly-sexual aunt for instance).

I'm sure a lot of this will be remedied by the story as the characters develop, I'm looking forward to more updates. :)
I can only agree with you 100% and Charlotte works closely with many men in the fashion industry.
Almost every day. :)

When people argue that it's realistic for Charlotte to be the way she is, yeah it probably is... But it doesn't make for a very compelling story if she doesn't begin to open up and change.

Personally i think we have enough "setup" in this game, both with Charlotte and Emma, and it's time to see some positive progression with those characters.
And by progression i don't mean they should start giving blowjobs just because... but their attitude should evolve and change gradually.

"Hello it is Charlie's Angels, Agency for the World best female Bodyguards speaking.
Sorry to say but all our employees are actually in a long time contact and we are hiring only the best because quality over quantity. We hope you are understanding this, but feel free to give us your contact datas, so we can tell you when some of them are free.
And please have in mind, these Women are Bodyguards and not Escorts and they can easily break your Neck if you are doing something stupid.
Have a nice day."

So sorry, Charlotte has to deal with MC...

;)
like what would be the point lol? I'm glad some of these guys aren't writing the script otherwise..

To be fair

I posted something similar in my first post in this thread like:

"It would be more logical to hire a female Bodyguard, but then we had no Game to play."

So i can understand this question or suggestion.

On the other Hand i can't understand people are ranting that Charlotte is still not "open up" (pun intended) to the MC.
Maybe it is just me, because i have to read carefully and slowly everything, to understand what is going on. (English is not my native language).

But at the end of the new update she is asking herself, why she is still so negative to the MC and at the Endscreen we can see a foreshadowing.

And surprise (or i need finally glasses) there is a scene Charlotte and the MC together dressed up for an Event...

So????

She will be opening up since the dude that beat her so bad is back and she needs 2 things. Closure, and protection. Closure will come when the actor has most of his body rearranged by her guardian angel, and protection will come in the same form. Facing fears and having them wiped out is very cathartic. I think she will open up in many ways once the MC demonstrates the price that shitheads pay for beating women, and will further open up when the mega perv stalker is likewise either put in the hospital or the ground.

Woah now i have images in my head, that a gay Hairdresser/Fashiondesigner/whatever is walking with swinging hips towards Charlotte

"Tüdelüüü Sweetheart, so you are the famous Model i am working with. Oooooh Honey can't wait for it..."

And Charlotte is running away in fear (i know i would...or bursting out in laughter, but that's just me)

yeah her fear is on sexual predators, not the benign folks she deals with in the fashion industry. Besides, as the reigning queen of super models she can probably influence a lot of who is around her.

Just remember when arguing if Charlotte is acting realistically or appropriately or not given what she's been through... humans are crazy messed up strange creatures. And every single of reacts a unique way, not matter how minutely, to different things. The differences might be so small it seems a bunch are reacting the same, but there is a tiny difference. No two people are identical.

Doesn't really matter anyway, because either 1 of 2 things has to happen.
1. That guy turns up and ends up killing her, not likely given it doesn't go down well when a LI is removed, ie Thirsty for my guest.
2. The MC either saves her or the daughter from the guy that beat her, thus changing her mind towards at least the MC.

Otherwise, how is the MC going to do anything with Emma, if she found out the MC helps Emma with her foot fetish she would though the MC out, so something has to give unless it ends up just being sneaking around, or I guess unless Emma will not be a LI.

Yeah, and the most unrealistic feature of the story is that everyone is straight.

I'll tell you a secret: most dudes in the fashion industry are gay.
Gay men can be very dangerous. Historically, they are among the best soldiers.
Some hate women like the plague. Therefore the sexual direction is nonsense.

This is really good, i really like it, just one question
¿Why Charlotte doesnt hire a personal female bodyguard for herself?
like what is stopping her from doing that, or did i just missed some dialog in the game that explains it
A) This was explained in the game because Charlotte wanted to hire a woman, but the best female bodyguard they could get does not come as highly recommended as the male MC and Lucy wanted the best
B) The dev clearly wanted this VN to have a male MC
C) It's better to have a male MC because it's necessary to help both Charlotte and Emma with their respective issues regarding men.

Models and designers, sure, but photographers and agents? They're more likely to be straight and these are the people she's had issues with.

It's possible that Emma could be a different kind of LI in this game; not one you end up with at the end, but one that you can still be with during the course of the game. It could be that the MC and Emma will get closer and closer until eventually they take that major step, but it won't last, either because the MC ends it or it just runs its course as a short-term fling that they both believe can not be a long-term thing.

It would be good to have an ending with her, maybe even one with all the girls, but I feel like it's possible that only Charlotte and Lucy are the 2 characters that have a separate endings with the MC.

Emma forever,
but she has to accept that I like other girls too.
She likes other men too. Or not? :)
