Since the game crashes for me because I don't have a big enough game card, what card do you recommend when running Windows 10?

The one you can get with 2Go VRAM min (they are nvidia for work CG with 2Go at budget price) but all decent CG are not available thanks to crypto mining.
What is your current graphic processor and VRAM ? Maybe your crash isn't memory related.
It's not a good time for CG upgrade. In case your CPU has an integrated GPU, try to swith to it, maybe it can help ( I did that when I had to replace my CG after fan malfunction).

PS: WB

Well, I would say about a month including beta testing.
This is a bigger update than we've seen before, so give the developer some time and patience, everyone.
I agree with Puppet Master (long time no see..how are you?), but could be longer as he is only still working on the game day 2 for this section out of 3 days.
Just because the development news is updated is not a sign things are coming soon.
It is more to show you that work is still being done and the progress being made.
It will arrive when it's done...and will probably take a while for testing as well.
Just be patient...

Nice to see everyone is doing well!

Ha, ha! I'm fine, but life & pandemic got in the way. I only play Holiday Island, but I stopped because new content was unavailable to me due to memory errors. Thus, there really wasn't any reason for me to check in. I've been lurking since the release of 2.3.1, but the game stopped working on Desire's dance, and I lost interest.

I suggest a skip scene button so the player could optionally skip to the end of a scene, but get credit for it.

I have been thinking of trying the compressed version, but I didn't really consider it official, so I haven't yet. I'm on it now.

I think with 3.0 coming I want to get a video card and was wondering what I should buy.

My system is:

Processor: Intel (R) Core (TM) i5-2400 CPU @3.10GHz 3.10 GHz

Installed RAM: 12.0 GB (11.9 usable)

System Type: 64-bit op. sys. x64 based processor

As Mon. X said, Crypto mining has snatched up or ruined the affordable ones, but I thought maybe I can find something.

What I need is a list of possibles to search for.
Thanks

I saw that the Nvidia GeForce gtx 1060 3Gb could be had for $239.
However, I don't know if my computer can add this.
Also, is 3Gb enough?

Guess that all depends on your budget and what you want your system to be able to do. For example I am running an AMD Radeon R7 360 series and it handles Holiday Island fine. Now it came out over 5 years ago so maybe at sometime in the near future I may have to look at an upgrade. But now I only use my computer to surf the web, play a few games, etc. No graphic/rendering projects, no business/data projects, etc. so maybe I'll be okay until the next latest greatest innovation.

Try to find cards with more of 4gb of memory, 8gb is the sweet spot (Always talking about vn games like H.I ) besides that, any model should work fine

GTX 1060 will be more than adequate to run Holiday Island.
Your system spec looks fine as well.
The only thing to check is your power supply can cope with it.
1060 card can use up to 120W, looking at needing at least a 600w power supply.

You may have to open your case and look for info on the power supply itself. Now if you bought your computer pre-built from say Dell or similar, there should be some info on what their model# is for said computer. Then the manufacturer's site should have info on the components.
