This sounds like it could be the Persistent file problem I was just talking about.

Think it could be just a coincidence this happened as you updated your graphics drivers... but is best to always update them to the latest version of the driver to help stop crashes and bugs etc...

But if the cause really was an outside update I think I can see why removing the persistent file helps. That basically is a cold reset of the Renpy system. Kind of a software reboot.

Yes, I would say more of a config reset.
Each game you have has its own renpy code to use/run, so that's why some games will work fine, running an old version.
Also, each game have their own Persistent file for that game.

So, an old problem of mine: I unlocked the new room wallpapers at the reception, but there's no app to use them.
What did I miss?

Go into a girls profile and click on the scene/event/appointment you want to use the image on your wall.
You should see an iconic the bottom right that says show the frame.
That should allow you to edit and select which wall screen the image to go to.
Then the icon will appear for changing the frames.

The resort and lab both certainly use a lot of electricity, so there has to be a significant power plant somewhere on the island; and, assuming that HI, Inc. owns the entire island, there would be HI-employees operating the power plant ("power babes").

But she is neither fan art nor game related.
So there is nowhere to see her right now.

Months ago during the long break, I started the game over from scratch. Frankly I was shocked at how many interactions and events I had completely forgotten about and/or missed altogether because I had steered towards certain girls and away from others. The other thing you notice straightaway is just how much content and how big HI has become when you stare at an empty phone for the first time.

So when the thankless dev hours and days get longer and longer, all I can say is thank you darkhound1. Please keep up your great work on this legendary game for there are few like it anywhere.
