Ok so I have a question Jennifer has just shown me the photo studio and I don't know what keybind on pc actually takes the photo. I can see the zoom controls and different poses but not the actual camera snap button.

There is no snap button. Once you are done use the "exit icon" on the camera control window.

I got the same error with the Brenda arrival scene with 3.8.1. Easy work around is to chose the other option than "call by name".
