Holiday Island update to 0.4.5.1 has been released

Hi guys and gals,
the first bug fix update for 0.4.5.x has been released.

This is an update to the version 0.4.5.1 (PC, Mac, Linux only).
The update works only on version 0.4.5.0.

In case you are new to the game, you need to download one of the main game files version 0.4.5.0 (PC, Mac, Linux) from the links on my main patreon page (see about tab):

Save games from 0.0.8 alpha and later versions should still be working. Older saves are no longer supported. Some saves might still not load. Sorry for that, but there is nothing I can do about it.
Please download the update to 0.4.5.1 (PC, Mac, Linux) from the file attached to this post, or from one of these links:

To apply the update, please extract all files from the zip archive to the sub folder named "game" inside the folder where you installed the full game. Overwrite all files when asked.
For Mac users, please navigate to the folder structure:

\Contents\Resources\autorun\game
Extract the content of the zip file into the "game" folder mentioned above.
And confirm to overwrite "scripts.rpa" when asked.
Please check the screenshot for how it should look after you extracted the zip file.

In some 'replay modes' ( ) the image of the girl with the last interaction stays put in front of it.

Should that be happening?

Download the patch again. As written in my post above, I forgot to add some upscaled images and when I added them, I put them in the wrong folder

I haven't seen this bug addressed in any patch notes, but do make sure you get the latest 4.5.1 patch, the Version 4 here:

The different versions are mostly just additional images that had been left out in earlier versions of the patch.

The total contest trophies do not refresh each week. Only the weekly trophies are refreshed, which is how it should be.
I just checked it and couldn't find anything wrong with it. Even did a contest and change of week.

This isn't a glitch or bug in the game. Looks like a GPU driver problem or a GPU crash or a lose cable to the monitor.

Yep, definitely GPU, had this with my last PC shortly before GPU died. You should replace your graphic card as soon as possible.

There are a few items required to get that done. First - she doesn't tell you about HOW she got them while on the beach walk. Second - has she won both weekly contests? Is her stats and MC stats up?

I suggest you read the Guide as it spells out what steps to take.

I've used the protein shake with Amy, but now how do I get another one to use with Mercedes at the pool. Doesn't show anymore in the app except basic ones and I cant give any them to her.

Open the Shopping App on your phone and buy a basic protein shake and add it to your inventory. There's an Inventory App also, so you can see what else you have.
