Possible yes, realistic no.

Some time ago, 2 years maybe I don't remember, Darkhound mentionned Natasha replacement once she is completed by another dark skin character.
No idea if it's still on the table.

I wouldn't be surprised to see 2-3 new girls over the course of the next few updates, over the next couple of years or so. Specifically, I think Monsieur X is right that there are/were at least tentative plans for a new "Natasha replacement" at some point... at least, that is my recollection, too.

I also wouldn't be surprised to see a new "Mia scenario variant" (i.e., a young woman with a serious medical condition, who comes to the lab for HI's gentech treatments to cure her condition and undergo a significant physical transformation). I would think that this new "Mia scenario variant" would not be just a cookie-cutter duplication of Mia's actual scenario, but would instead involve some unique twists to add variety (hence the term "variant"...).

Finally, I suspect there's a possibility that either one of Darkhound's past creations, or maybe a new DH creation that has been kept under wraps, could be a candidate for a stay on Holiday Island. We had a brief experience with Samantha when she visited Jennifer, so she could graduate to a more extended stay. Carla is Jessica's sister, and is already well-developed by Darkhound (judging by his images of her on

, Tanya and Svea are a couple of other "Darkhound Girls" who could be candidates for an appearance on Holiday Island; again, solely based on their well-developed status on DeviantArt. And, like I also said, Darkhound may have some newer creations that we don't know about, who could also be candidates for an appearance on Holiday Island (and if a new, as yet undisclosed Darkhound creation happened to be Brazilian, I wouldn't complain, from a personally selfish (selfishly personal?) perspective).

I don't believe that all of these would happen, but I wouldn't be surprised if a couple of them did; again, over the course of the next few updates, over the next couple of years or so. I also don't think any of them would be traditional Island girls, as both Darkhound and Ducky have indicated that isn't realistic at this point (which is what I believe Ducky was getting at), but I would guess that it is more realistic/feasible for any potential "new girls" to be "special girls"... either "special staff" (Daniela, Mercedes, Miriam, Sara, Yumiko) or "special non-staff" (Mia).

Just my wishful musings; and of course, it's all dependent on what Darkhound wants to/chooses to do...

I was being literal as it happens.

The game is more than full as is and would need to either

• Advance the story beyond the old girls (mass completion) or
• Retire each when possible (one or more each release)

To a point significantly below the current before any additions become a realistic option.

My personal opinion (obviously), others will have theirs, and Darkhound1 his.

(that said I happen to consider the personal take reasonably sound for the simple reason that history have shown that the old girls continuing to be active means new girls cannot realistically get time, so adding any is meaningless)

Edit. Natasha rep post was Oct 2021. She is consuming all the content that would otherwise have gone to her successor (so I consider the post superseded by later events, she has become her own successor and once completed wraps all that up).

I actually really enjoy this line of discussion, with its blend of speculation, theorizing, and "wishful musings". It's all guesswork on our part, though I suspect you have more of a finger on the pulse of what Darkhound has planned for future releases than I do.

I figure that there are two major factors for what content (including characters) Darkhound ultimately chooses to include in updates to Holiday Island; namely, in order of priority, 1) what he wants to include, and 2) what his resources are in terms of bandwidth and opportunity cost. "Bandwidth" is basically the average amount of time each day that DH can sustainably dedicate to HI development, outside of his non-HI real life, and "opportunity cost" basically means that every minute DH spends on incorporating a particular bit of content into HI is a minute that he can't spend on doing likewise to any other bit of content. The resources factor is the basis for prioritizing the things he wants to include.

For example, Darkhound could add a "small person" character who has some form of dwarfism (Yvette would be taller than her!), or a character with vitiligo (I've seen a couple of characters with vitiligo elsewhere who are quite attractive, IMO); but, if Darkhound doesn't have any interest in that, then it isn't going to happen.

From a resources perspective, Darkhound could add a Sam-esque "drive-by encounter" with a previously unseen character to each upcoming update with relatively little bandwidth and opportunity cost hit; on the other hand, he could also include two new "guest" characters and two new user-selectable sandbox locations to the next update, but the bandwidth and opportunity cost hit would be ENORMOUS, there couldn't be any other content besides that in the update (opportunity cost), and it would probably take about a year to roll out that update, which is why I suspect we both agree that would be highly improbable.

To some of the other things:

Carla: I like Carla a lot, but she probably wouldn't be my first choice from my previous post. I included her primarily because she already has a HI connection... maybe she would be worthy of a Sam-esque "drive-by encounter" where she visits Jessica on the Island. Speaking of Sam-esque "drive-by encounter" Jessica visits, I'd love to see Angel (the woman Jessica said helped her transform from shy/introverted to uninhibited/extroverted) do one of those kinds of visits.

Hope: I'm so glad you mentioned her! I'd love to see her as longer-term character on the island, but maybe she could at least be a candidate for one of those "drive-by encounter" visits.

Others: Maybe some of DH's "Busty 3D Escorts" from DeviantArt (or updated versions of them, since they are mostly older assets) would also be potential candidates for "drive-by encounter" visits (do you detect a theme... )

MILFs: I'm with ya on that one, but I suspect Joy and Daniela fill DH's quota in that regard (we'll see...)

Yes I detect a theme, visitors (his) or guests (mine).

They differ from phone / sexting / random story girls in that they are actual girls and not quickly created fillers.

I get the angle but not sure they add much as none ever made the transition to a permanent presence, so risks some costs for a flash of new or ambience (welcome of course after all those years, so there is certainly that, and maybe that is enough).

Hi guys and gals,
this post offers you a collection of news about the next version of Holiday Island (0.5.0.0).
You can see the main focus and side areas for the next update in the above image.
The change log below is based on the release 0.4.5.0.

As of right now, the update from 0.4.5.0 to 0.5.0.0 has:
159 additional renders, videos or sound files (only includes post worked, finished renders)
1 new background for the phone
28 updated renders

New features, major improvements and new content

• There will be a huge titfight event at the bar with all the specials and some guests -> still working on it
• Desire will get a new Nightbar drink scene on the red sofa wearing her sexy clothes -> still working on it
• A new sub location for pool billiard will be added to the night bar and Amy will get a scene wearing her special dress -> still working on it
• Desire's workout pullups scene will be remade -> will be part of 0.5.0
• Desire's shower event has been re-rendered and has three achievements now -> will be part of 0.5.0
• Desire's scene at the gym shower gets two additional achievements with a happy ending -> will be part of 0.5.0
• Desire's workout pecs scene will be re-rendered, and a lot of new images and a new achievement will be added -> will be part of 0.5.0
• Natasha gets a remade workout pullups scene -> will be part of 0.5.0

Minor improvements and changes (including image upgrades)

• Mia will send a couple of bikini pictures and some text to the MC's phone -> still working on it
• A quick access button has been added for the player stats -> will be part of 0.5.0
• Scroll bar sizes have been increased and a little more space has been added to make the game navigations easier to use on small devices like mobile phones. -> will be part of 0.5.0
• Renée's scene at the Nightbar in the green room gets an extension (additional position in the couch) -> will be part of 0.5.0

Bug fixes

• Mia's event where she leaves the island could be triggered before her lab scene at the pool -> will be fixed with 0.5.0
• The arm-wrestling icon in the night bar wasn't showing all available scenes -> will be fixed with 0.5.0

Is the update going to break save games?
