It launches correctly, but, I got white screen crash when I click on "create" and then select a gender.
When I click on "play" I have an infinite loading white screen, with the loading icon turning indefinitely.
I dunno what to do...

in the code page that comes out when you run the game you can see what the problem is. something similar happened to me, and the problem is that certain clothes or objects mark me error, just don’t use them. or download the files again. may be a download problem

When I played the ScrewThisNoise_HoneySelect_2_BetterRepack_R1.7z. The version before they released this new one. It didn't have a telescoping penis thing. But when I downloaded this new version it added the uncensor and all kinds of new stuff. Something must of changed because the last version didn't do this.

The mod that added the uncensor allows for a TON of different penis models, oneor more of which telescope so the penis doesn't come out the girl's back.

Therefore, it's better to have simple censored models than to deal with different stores' policies, especially their games have a larger scale compared to other Doujinshi.


DLC is not MTX. Don't confuse between the two.

It is not an unfinished project, they cut out anything that was planned or partially implemented just like AAA companies do. It was released and is in the finished state intended by the devs.

Compact them in zip / rar / etc.

Censorship CANNOT be avoided as it is required by law since this is a Japan only release right now, it will not be censored IF they release to the west. Also, it takes money away from them to release on Steam, so they are going to wait until they see what Japan thinks of the game before they even consider Steam. The same goes for all the other platforms like Fakku, Denpasoft, and Nutaku. The original resources are uncensored or the mod would not work. To unofficially uncensor requires that the censor isn't built into the assets or it will have to be completely remade. All they did was put a censor on a layer above the asset.

Makes me wonder how many people work for Illusion.

I can see why they're big on Honey Select franchise if the google trends says anything. That spike in 2016 is when Honey Select was released. I'm surprised they've been going downhill rather than up. I wonder if that "Illusion" tread includes just the word "Illusion" and not strictly searching for the company though. I have no idea how those trends work. I don't know if google checks to see which links you click after searching. People searching for the game company would probably often just type "Illusion" after all.

Artificial Academy (Jinkō Gakuen) does as well in hits as Honey Select.

Very few, it's a very small company and the stigma against porn game development making them essentially hire a completely new batch of programmers and such doesn't help.

No, only AI Shoujo cards can be imported. HS1 uses a different engine version and different model skeletons.

I assume there're 7 of them:
普通 - Normal (Starter Condition)
好意 - Love (or Favoring) = Doing normal poses (kissing, missionary), no fancy stuff.
享楽 - Hedonistic(?) = Doing Female Lead pose.
隷属 - Slave = Doing shameful poses (like let the girl masturbation, piledriver).
嫌悪 - Hate/ Disgust = Any painful poses. This will trigger "Running Away" event once it's MAX.
壊れ - Broken = It correlates to Hate/Disgust Status.
依存 - Dependency (each for Love/Hate/Hedonistic) = Basically, it's fill up upon you do either Love/Slave/Hedonistic.

Yes, it has 3 types of dependency (3 black types of each Smiley faces corresponding to Love - Slave - Hedonistic). Think of it as a MAX Status for each.
= Love. If you see this black smiley face, it means you achieve MAX Love status.
= Slave. If you see this black smiley face, it means you achieve MAX Slave status.
= Hedonistic. If you see this black smiley face, it means you achieve MAX Hedonistic status.
