They made everything wrong you can do. Already in the first episode they started very slow, had beautiful girls but absolutely no sex. With the update they just pimped up the first episode without really improving. Same ending with a long, stupid and completely superfluous pool scene. Sorry but when you have superhot chicks like Kyoko and Akane and let nothing happen with them, then you spoil everything with purpose. You can have great girls but if you have nothing to tell ... then forget it! This VN died because of the incapability of it's creators and nobody wants to give money to losers.

Feels like a self-fulfilling prophecy. Game doesn't get the immediate $$ they were expecting so updates slow. Since updates slow people dip, which in turns gives no incentive for creator to keep pushing updates through; now just taking the few who forgot to unpledge's money each month while throwing out a scene or two and an AI fed apology. Unless someone is one of the lucky creators who caught the first wave of patrons when this stuff first started taking off who, now apparently can do no wrong, you aren't going to be able to actually make money off VNs unless you are active and/or different.

Monthly News - More Information about HSA v0.5.

Hi All!
Today we want to tell you more about the upcoming 0.5 update, giving you more details about everything we've been working on for a long time.
We have decided to make this post public since it does not include preview images of the 0.5 update.

In the new version of Hot Springs Academy, you'll see new extremely hot penetration sex scenes with Akane, Kazumi, Chika and Mizuki, as well as a huge amount of content with Misaki!
Without any doubt, this will be the biggest and lewdest update of all the ones that have been released before!
Of course, the rest of the events will be adapted to all the added content to keep the integrity of the story intact.

In addition, as our dear patrons already know from the previous news, we have completely redesigned the appearance of two of the less popular girls, making minor adjustments to their personality at the same time.
We sincerely believe this will make them shine with a new bright!

As in previous updates, we haven't forgotten to add numerous micro-events that reveal some of the other girls, sometimes in unexpected, cute or even funny ways.

A lot of work has been done to noticeably improve the lighting of the new and some of the old and most popular scenes.
The length of skirts, the shape of shirts have been changed, and some unique clothing elements have been created or redesigned from scratch to make our gyaru even more sexier.
And many, many other things.

All of the above, of course took us an impressive amount of time, as well as the other difficulties we've talked about in our previous posts.

However, as always, we continue to spend all of our free time working on the game.
Thanks again for your support and for sticking with us.

I can only hope that the reason the update has taken so long was the team lead rearranging the production team and streamlining the dev process. No mention of that in the post, which I can understand would be embarrassing to admit, though it doesn't inspire our confidence in the devs. Eh, I'm not a patron, so free content is free content, even years late. If they can ever get things under wrap and reaffirm confidence in their release schedules I'll consider being a patron. Thanks for posting the update here, since I would have otherwise missed it.
