People would not have a problem with a change in direction. You changed the entire method of transportation. It's like you were riding a bike down a neighborhood street one scene and then suddenly you were hang gliding over a canyon in the next. People are rightly confused because you broke the continuity of your story to do something completely different. Even if it has a purpose for the greater story as a whole, even if we eventually see a return to the story we've been playing, you removed everyone's immersion from the story for a stunt.

Yeah, I'm really not sure what to make of this latest chapter. You had a plane crash in your playthrough? Mines was the car accident with Dustin and the other girl forgot her name.Now that doesn't make sense:

Yeah plane and second round I have car accident.
I liked to follow Karlie’s adventures until chapter 10 but now it feels like it's not my game anymore.
I would understand if that sci-fi thing had been involved from the beginning(Like Assassins Creed series)

I'm not sure why you are calling out the clothes? Like most of the one person game developers most assets(clothes, buildings..etc) are purchased and that's why you'll see them in other stories. If we had to make our own assets then you'd only see updates every 6 months or more, not to mention learning how to make props and such. This is why you are asked to donate to your favorite devs...it has not been cheap making this story from props to computers that render 3d images quickly...

Now I support about 15 different Dev in the patreon and a few others way.
Because I like FemMC games so I always played them first and this was one the first games I played here.
I like games that are down to earth but this case, I'm too confused right now.
Personally, I wish you luck and success with your the game.
I just downloaded this game and was enjoying it till this new update. WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT???????? Im lowkey pissed
BRUH i can't begin to think how people that downloaded this game day 1 feel right now. Having to wait for each update being led on by a decent story just for this 180 of an update. Now that is not cool at all

here is my unofficial android port of How We Met v12.0.
due to an added variable you have to start from scratch again.
from now on my android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage, because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.

seems like not much people are interested in this game anymore.

i was curious how you would continiue the alternate life with Karlie and i must say it is getting weirder and weirder with every update you make.
first Karlie with some matrix clone,then karlie as some new Karate kid and now with the new update a zombie pandemie like some walking dead????
duh what comes next Stargate?? Star Trek?? or maybe the Avengers coming to save the pandemie world in some Perverted way???
man give me a break will you?? cut that shit and continiue with the story without the shit that startet with chapter 11.

Sometimes it happens when there are changes so old savegames don't work properly.
Edit: I just testet it and with a new game it works just fine. My save was broken aswell.

Meh, it started out pretty well (Not the greatest, but had my attention), but then went from that to the left field, then to, well, I doubt I will be back. It was on my games to support list, kind of a shame. I wish you success with this game Madbone.
