These are all very good points, but some things are limitations of Daz3D which I can't fix, some are my own limitations. I'll try to address some of them.
She's giving birth? That looks way too big to be a newborn.
That's just the baby model in Daz3D. While it is possible for me to manually reduce its size, you are going to see distortions when it gets too small. And actually at the default size, there are already some distortions on the body, because it's made by shrinking the G8 model, which is the default adult human model in Daz3d.
It would be better if we cut to a while later, I think.
I'll be honest. The game suffers from a number of problems, many of them are my own fault. A lot of scenes were originally planned to be longer, and the pacing would certainly be better. While writing is relatively easy and fast, making renders is a lot more demanding. I'm just not very patient when it comes to making renders so sometimes I just decide to cut some corners, sorry. It's kind of like adapting a written novel into a movie.
Not to mention that the direction of the game wasn't set in stone until I decided to drop the Demon route, at least for now. The settings of the game were selected so that it "makes sense" for both the Human and the Demon routes. The sister(s) would have been present from the start of the game if I was making the Human route from the beginning.
I do wonder exactly where all the girls are going, I was wondering before that they might become broken, docile, non-verbal cow-like.
That was never the plan. That's basically just killing off the characters. It may make sense for a sandbox game, where the characters are just statistics, but not for a story-driven game like this one.
I really wish we had some hints to what the different choices might mean
This is a very linear game. The choices mostly affect the endings.
I think that offering to let her go home should have some significant consequences. Regardless of whether he will actually let her or not. I mean, how could he possibly guarantee that she wouldn't incriminate him? And she's been missing for so many months, there is no way for her to just visit quietly even if he did have such a guarantee and was willing to let her go. I do wonder if he really would let her if it were somehow possible to get those guarantees that she wouldn't incriminate him and would come back again, or if he is only offering because he knows that it isn't possible? Perhaps something that would be easier would be to not let her go home, where there would be so many questions and attention, but to take her out somewhere else? Find a park or some countryside far away from her old home, and take her out there for a day.
Originally, letting her go home was going to play a big part of her "corruption", but it was going to be a while after birth before she could go home. Initially she would despise the baby she gave birth to, because the baby was a product of rape, and she didn't want a mixed baby. The MC would gradually treat her better after she gave birth to his baby, and she would bond with the baby over time, eventually accepting the baby was hers. It was then the MC let her go home, as part of his scheme to bring Emma to his side completely, by ruining her relationship with her father.
The MC knew she got her prejudices against the MC's race from her father, and since it was implied she was sexually abused by her father, you could imagine how things would go south quickly if she went home with the MC's child. All of this was expected by the MC because he knew him as his landlord. He just needed a way to drive a wedge between her and her father. He would monitor everything from a distance.
Once she was home, her father would lash out at her for bringing home a baby that wasn't his and worse, mixed. He would beat her and try to kill the baby. Exactly how things would develop from this point are uncertain. I usually just write an outline and leave the details out until I get to that point. One possibility is that she would escape with the baby, and with nowhere to go, she willingly returned to the MC. From that point onwards, the MC would no longer have to keep her in chains.
As for her showing up after missing for so long, again that has to do with the changes in the storyline. In the original storyline, both her father and Eveline heavily suspected the MC was the one behind the kidnappings, but they just had no solid evidence. There would be several confrontations between her father and the MC before this. So, it's not like he had forgotten about her or anything. And the MC would silence her father during or after her visit home.
Whether this is a better story or not, it's really up to each individual to decide, but you can see how much longer it would have been. I do think it would have been more interesting, because Emma is the only girl who holds extra grudges against the MC's race, and the MC has to work extra hard to change her mind.
And if she thinks that there aren't men that lock their wives up, boy is she sheltered.
Well, I have seen cases where men kidnap women to be sex slaves, but I haven't really heard anyone locking their wives up in western countries.
But the main point here is, the change in her mentality. She somehow compared herself to a wife, when she was actually just a kidnapped girl, showing that deep down, she no longer felt she was a slave, but instead a wife to the MC.
Eh, she shouldn't worry about having another baby right away, I don't think that you can get pregnant immediately after giving birth anyway, and even if she did she'd still have nine months to recover before giving birth again anyway.
I have looked up on the consequences of successive child births. It can be fatal for the mother. But even if it is not, pregnancy is a huge burden, so she doesn't want to experience that again so soon. It's more about her wanting to be treated as a person and not just something that gives him babies and milk.
It does feel like her change of heart is a bit sudden, it probably isn't due to the time skip, but it does feel that way.
Well, I explained above how it was going to be, and it should have given a better pacing. But it's difficult to make renders. If it didn't take that long to make renders, I probably would have gone with the original story.
